Question(s) About Posting Affiliate Links in Ezinearticles.com
Well ezinearticles has me a bit confused, here is my question: I posted an article and had a link in my resource box with my site redirecting to a CB offer, and it got rejected. They got back to me telling me:
We will only accept articles which forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:
http://your-company-name.com/
...but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:
http://your-company-name.com/page.html
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html
http://sub-domain.your-company-name.com/
The identified affiliate link in your article is:
http://mysite.com/affiliateoffer.htm (I took my actual link out obviously, but you get the point).
My question is how do I redirect to the offer from the top-level of my domain so it gets accepted? I only know how to redirect to it from a page/subdirectory off of my site. I use an affiliate cloaking tool to do this.
The odd thing about this is I have submitted a different article just a few days ago pointing to a CPA offer in the resource box in the same fashion, for example: http://mysite.com/affiliateoffer.htm and it was accepted, thus my confusion. I am wondering if they just missed it. The difference in my current affiliate link submission is that I am using an iframe, and the CPA offer was just a redirect off a sub/page off of my site. I wonder if that's why they are denying it.
Also I noticed on ezine articles other authors are posting links directing to certain (sub)pages on their sites and this is allowed. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
