Do You Have A Written Business Plan? You Should.

Just wondering how many Warriors have a written business plan that specifically outlines their goals and objectives for their internet marketing business. Really think that each person that operates a business should have some kind of written document that outlines their goals, objectives, ideas, and plans for making a profitable enterprise.

This document outlines the legal structure of the business, projects income from the business, revenue streams, accounting strategies, has a vision statement and a mission statement. It is a living and breathing document that can be continually updated and changed as your business adapts to challenges and opportunities that are present in your niche.

SCORE is an organization that is a part of the Small Business Administration and is full of retired business executives that give FREE advice and counseling to small business owners. I want to repeat this, FREE. They have templates for business plans, offer advice on finding a legal structure, and have various areas of specialty. It is a great resource and you can find a local chapter in your area. Check out their website sometime.

    I have a 'Business Plan' for each of the domain names I own. This outlines what the website is going to be about, any keywords that are relevant, affiliate programs that are going to be pretty cool to work with, random content ideas, marketing budget, software that is going to be used and the like. basically everything about the running of the site including when uploads will happen. This is uploaded to my Google Drive account and shared between the people I work with so everybody knows 'what's what'.

    I also have a small form that people can fill in for proposals for creation of websites/eBooks. These are used by the people I work with. It is sort of a mini-business plan. I approve pretty much any proposal they bring providing they pledge they will work on the site. We then split the commission and they get a small wage.

      Good advice for sure... So many ideas come and go... its good to get a clear plan down on paper before you lose it... and like you say as the new ideas and adjustments come in, it can just be updated.
