Where Can I find great Images freely

Hello guyz,

I just wanna ask one small thing:

whenever we create any new post in our website, we definitely put some image, so now my question is: from where you chose an Image?

Do you just search in google and keep some related image in your post?

I am interested to keep some good images in my every post, so where can I find great Images freely?

Pixabay is new to me but these words in the "Terms" page are kind of buzz kill -

Since Pixabay does not require a written Model Release for each Image that has identifiable people on it, We cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the Image for any purpose You like. Also, if there is a model release for the Image, We do not represent or make warranties whatsoever as to the legality or validity of it.

Furthermore, certain Images may be subject to additional copyrights, property rights, trademarks etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights.

Do an advanced search on google images. You can change the settings to find images which are free to use on your own blog or website. I also use microsoft clipart online.

Don't believe the hype: Read the spectacular terms before using any image from morguefile...

Where do I find microsoft clipart online??? Or do you mean you use the clipart that comes with Word Or PP for your online projects? I've been wondering forever if that was allowed...

As for finding royalty free images...

First, the word "royalty free" does not mean they're free - you have to buy a license for them first (usually).

And second, instead of hunting around for free images and figuring out how exactly I need to credit them (once I found something that works), I have to admit that I usually find it more cost effective to purchase stock photos from a place like Fotalia. Most of their photos are $1.40 or less and they let you use them multiple times (unless otherwise noted). Also, they have an excellent selection.

Plus you're covered if you ever need to prove that you have the right to use those images.

You can do a google search for royalty free images, copyright free images, things like that and the advance google search for free images. If you find one you must have you can often get in touch with the person who's site googled pulled it from and ask them if you can use it. I've heard that if you give credit to the image owner with a link then it's not an infringement but I'm not 100% on that.
You can also find some graphic designers on fiverr that will produce some good work for only $5.

To be honest I have had problems using images from sites like Pinterest ect. I find it better if you purchase royalty free images. The cost is very low per photo if you want to pick exact photos for your website. You can take your own photos at no cost except time. Even purchase resell rights expensive but worth looking into.

Hi OP, When looking for royalty free images I often use:

    Code:
    http://www.sxc.hu/
While the pictures might not be the greatest, they're usually sufficient to do the job until you're in a position to purchase something better.

Either that or an image search on Google with the "usage rights" (under advanced settings) changed to "free to use, share or modify, even commercially" should throw up up suitable results.

I mostly use Google. that will bring me to the website, and from the website I can search more, and see the copyright notice. most of cases, if it's vector, I create it myself. if it's photo stock, I buy it.
