OK, this isn't going to be the thread you think it is by the title.

For those of you with more experience, let me ask you this...
Do you think it would be beneficial for me to use a large denomination total of advertising discount on a squeeze page or solo ad in order to get people to opt in?

Most people offer a free ebook or report and "value" them at $47.95 each making their "bonus" worth X many dollars.

I am curious if I were to offer to show someone my personally compiled list of discount codes and coupons from literally hundreds of traffic sources honestly worth over $15,000 ( Yes, I have done the math and totaled it all) if you were to buy it all outright, if that would be a strong motivater to get someone to opt in.

I think most people would see this as more valuable than whatever ebook or report most people offer no matter how much they put the value at.
Thoughts?

I think Ebooks is an old fashion.
and squeeze pages videos convert more than text pages.

  • I tend to agree with Cassano! Create a quick screen capture video of your offer and why people should opt in. You can blur out some of the details using camtasia or snagit. Then have your opt-in form. It's like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. And video is worth millions. My conversions are always higher when I use video.

But you might want to do a split test to see what works better for you!
