Have You Ever Offered Email Support For A Product?

Really curious.

I'll soon be ready to launch my first product in the dating niche. I know there's a hungry audience as others making money from it, I have paid a lot of money (for me at least) for a great script and a quality hand drawn 7 minute animated video.

I really want to minimise the chance of refunds (although I provide proof of my claims and a step by step guide, including videos) and wonder if anyone has offered email support/advice to buyers to try and get the refund % as low as possible. I'm looking to test everything out on JV Zoo or similar before launching on CB and approaching affiliates

If so ..... did you
1. Experience a lower than expected refund rate?
2. Find that when you created a new product your previous buyers snapped it up.
3. Did you find that after paying out 75% to affiliates it became to much work for your 25% or did the buyer loyalty and resulting increased future product sales make it worth the while.

I am looking to brand a name in this field and need to offer great service and product to help achieve this.

I would love to hear your experiences?

Regards

I set most of my launches on a membership site such as Optimize press or profits theme, I put a forum on there and a help desk. I offer support through this.

Your doing yourself a few favors. Your keeping closer to your buyers who will buy more often. Your catching bugs faster and your helping people faster.

So to answer the question yes it lowers that refund rate. Your refund rate should run less than 10 percent and preferably less than 5 percent. I usually run 1 to 4 percent.

You will always have refunds, you have the buyer refund me syndrome. With those I block though jvzoo. I also refund promptly. I never email them and try to work something out. My guarantees state no question asked refund and that is what they get.

You would be surprised how fast you can get a basic site up like this.
