For the last few years we have been making a fairly decent income with eBay affiliate websites, over the last few months Google has got more and more aggressive with these type of sites, to the extent that I can no longer make a ROI on this kind of site.

I have tried phpbay stealth and the like, we get sites up they do well for about 15 days or until the get above about 10 clicks a day to eBay then die, sometimes deindexed and sometimes just downgraded in the serps.

IS anyone else still making a decent roi of ebay affilaite sites and if so what are you doing to make this still work please?

eBay affiliate marketing isn't dead, it's alive and kicking! The problem isn't with the eBay affiliate program or marketing, the problem is with your approach. If you really want your websites to stay and rank in Google, you gotta shift your focus towards creating valuable content that people want. And leverage content marketing to build an audience that you can sell to.

Gone are the days when you could quickly build an affiliate site, get it ranked and rake in the moolah. Today it's ALL about giving value to your visitors using top notch content, winning their trust, building a relationship and recommending products to them that you personally believe in.

LOL. Respectfully, this is just moralizing generalities and it does not appear you are a member of the eBay affiliate program. The 24-hour cookie that just kicked in is going to kill off many of the remaining affiliates and clobber those who have built relationship sites or are recommending users check out auctions.

There isn't anyone I know promoting eBay who gleefully calls it "alive and kicking!"

atatum, you will get better advice in Wade's private phpbay forum, including specific tactics. You can look me up there about what needs to also be done with the stealth mode project to address Google.
