Giving Licence on Ebook

Hi,

I have an ebook which I sell via clickbank and have been approached by a chap from Romania. He would like to translate my ebook, salespage etc and sell my product himself just to people in Romania.

He has suggest that I sell him a licence to be able to do this. I'm happy to do so but not sure how to go about it. Could somebody point me to a precedent or advise me how I would do this?

Many thanks.

You could offer him PLR - just look up private label rights and other products with private label rights to get an idea of what to include in a list of rights.

Or you can offer him MRR - master resell rights - same advice as above with some rights to translate.

Basically, you just need a single page of what rights you would like to give. You can also do things like "can not claim copyright" So it will have to say something like My ebook, written by Bambi, Translated by Romanian bloke.

Is he looking to change the links and rebrand completely?

You could also work a deal where you require a copy of his re-working of the book so you can offer the translated version as well. You may really want this for several reasons - but the big one is that you can monitor at a later date the changes made to your book.
