A Question for Top Clickbank Affiliates...

Do you use the tools provided by the product developer...

...or do you tend to always create your own funnel?

When you create your own funnel, what lead gen techniques are you seeing work the best?

Rarely. (Not all the vendors of the products I promote even have any, but I rarely use them, even when they do. Occasionally I'll take a little banner, sometimes by re-sizing it.)

So far, across all my niches and over nearly 5 years, now, I've never found any traffic-source either as responsive, as easy to attract, or as highly-converting for ClickBank sales, as article marketing traffic. That's invariably my best, by far, and SEO-derived traffic is invariably my very worst.

I read your other linked post. The usual great stuff outta you.

How are you approaching the website owners to get your articles published?

      Or am I missing something?

And from that 15% of traffic you get from Google, how many of those clicks are actually qualified prospects? Just a guess...

        Like this: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7475055

        (They're not only website owners.)

And with articles specifically written for syndication: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3188316

And by finding them in some of the ways suggested here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6575732

Ooh, that really would be a guess; honestly, I just don't know. My aim (in each niche) is for 50% of the people who opt in, on my site, to buy one or more products through my affiliate-links at some stage of the very long email series they receive from me. I don't say that's necessarily the outcome, but it's the aim. But as an affiliate (mostly of ClickBank) I can't even always measure that accurately: you can encourage your subscribers in various ways to let you know when they've bought something, but you can't force them.

Usually will create my own as most product developers don't have much in the way of banners, copy, graphics, etc. Really, you should look at what you want and what you need to get conversions, then if they have something that fits use it, otherwise create it yourself.

Paid Traffic. Paid traffic allows you to start immediately, test effectively, find and target specific audiences, and scale greatly.

            Miles,

What are you favorite paid traffic sources? Also, do you direct link or send them to a squeeze page?

I checked out your blog and noticed that ClickBank infographic. Do you happen to know which product has sold 500,000 copies? Pretty amazing!

I like Facebook. Don't direct link, always use a squeeze page or a presell page, or use a Facebook FanPage to do those things.

Although I haven't had anyone verify, I believe the book was TruthAboutAbs by Mike Geary.

Definitely amazing! A LOT of hard work, trial and error went into that number I'm sure.

For sure. I'm using Facebook pretty extensively already. I just started linking to a squeeze page from a popular fan page and moving them to an email list.

I think this could be a preferred method I'm checking out your PodCasts right now. Good stuff.
