Can free website make me money online?

Hey Warriors.

Has anyone tried internet marketing with free websites and autoresponder (listwire) before? Does it work?

Currently I'm doing just that... maybe I could get a few pointers from you guys out there whether this is a good business model or not?

Thanks
Buck.

Well, it's not a business model, what you are mentioning are merely tools.

I know plenty of marketers who use Listwire, in fact, many of beginners start off there because it's pretty darn good for being a free service.

As far as "free websites", that depends, which ones are you using?

And what are you promoting? Your own products? Other people's offers? Both? Something else?

It is still possible to rank in google for certain keywords, promoting certain products using free websites. Youtube is a free website that is good for this kind of thing for example. But again it depends on what you are promoting and what free websites you are using.

Unless you know how to manage your autoresponder follow up properly you will make no money! So the auto responder in question only needs to do the basic things. Hold the email, and send the emails. The success/failure is in the follow up.

Internet marketing can work with free website/hosting. However, please also consider the possibility that your site can suffer from downtimes or worst an unwanted removal of the free service. In short, you never know when these services will be offered free. Also, most free websites can have a lot of technical issues, most especially the issue on downtime. All these factors can affect your business. I would suggest if you are really that determined to earn money through affiliate marketing, you need to invest on your own website hosting. At least for now, prioritize with a good website hosting then you can add the newsletter later on when you have the money.

Using free sites, platforms, hosting etc devolves you of any control. The hard work you put into your business may simply vanish. Better to invest in solutions which you control.

A big drawback on free services is, that they can (and will) shut you down for any reason you can or cannot think about - and often you will be the last person they will notice about it - and all your hard work will be down the drain overnight.

It's better to pay a little money for your own domain and hosting and run your very own thing. Basically those packages are available per month for less than the price of a meal and I cannot see the reason to risk your business going down on a free blog or free website service.

Build your own brand, build your own authority website/blog. You absolutely must not rely on any free website platform there is on the web. Build your business on a solid foundation.

For a start, yes they can.

I started affiliate marketing using Blogger blog and up to now, some of those blogs keep on giving me income from time to time. One to four CB income in a month is good enough for blogs I haven't updated for a few months. However, once you start making money, you must level up by getting your own domain that gives you have better control of your business.

    Cheers

What is the difference between listwire autoresponder and go daddy autoresponder. As long as you have a hosting account comes with an autoresponder. Is this good to use or must i use a paid autoresponder for my paid members and a free autoresponder for my free members which would be listwire. I am new too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes it can but it's not recommended you depend on someone else's servers....

  • I advice you to go for paid hosting and your own domain name.

Free websites are never reliable, they can shut down your site at any time.

      You're confusing two different things.

What you're saying is entirely true of places like Blogger and wordpress.com. Not because they're free, but because of their terms of service.

It isn't true at all of free hosts like Byethost, Freehostia and 000WebHost, where you can have a self-hosted WordPress blog without paying anything for the hosting.

The information in this thread from yesterday might help you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8547570

On the subject of autoresponders, I strongly advise you to stay away from the free ones. It's actually better to start without one at all, temporarily, and there are real reasons for that: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8531068

Many people make money with free options, but they are not guaranteed, they have many rules, they keep changing, so you can lose your work at any time. You should use free platforms in the beginning, before spending your money and buying your domain name. Free platforms are good for learning and testing, and also for promoting your own blog or website later, when you will have your own domain.

There's alots of way you can monetize your free website. One of those is that you can make commission as affiliate.

It's not really a business model, but free tools can help to build your site.
You will need to now focus on a niche and create content for your list of subscribers.

yes for some time it can be very good to use a free service, but sooner or later you will need to get a real website,
you can't totally depend on free services that can end at any time.

I think Free Websites are very good as a backlinking strategy but I have had Squidoo Len's closed down in the past because I'd put extra hyperlinks in so all the work I'd put into it was gone in a flash!!!

You will have more control over your own site barring the very unexpected that is so for the small amount it costs it is well worth it!
