Have you increased your earnings from 2012 to 2013?

Personally my best year was 2011. In 2012 I had some pretty big hits as well, but this recent year I have changed things up quite a bit to work less and make more money with my time. At the end of the day I'm making about 1/2 the money, but I'm spending 1/6th the time.

But what about you, have your earnings increased over the last year?

And why do you think that is?

They have. I have months in which I earn less than in the previous month, but I don't think I've ever had a month in which I've earned less than in the equivalent month of the previous year.

I've done a lot of work, this year, up until about 6 weeks ago when I eased off very significantly. And I've employed two full-time VA's, since very early this year, and they're trained-up and working out very nicely, which frees up a lot of my time to concentrate on the most important, directly income-producing stuff. I ought to have done this at least a year and a half earlier than I did, but it didn't come at all easily or naturally to me, because I like to try to control everything myself, am bad at delegating and don't trust people easily.

I got going online summer 2011, buy spring 2012 I was making a decent income, but ended up loosing it all due Google's algorithm updates. Since then I have been learning new techniques to make money outside of Google. I also learned from my mistakes and am starting to successfully rank sites in Google again. I think 2013 is the start of something good and 2014 will be my best year yet.

Panda and Penguin were rough on me, but this year I'm finally back above where I was in 2010. The most important thing is that I have diversified from Google both in terms of traffic and revenue. If I didn't, I probably would have given up by now.

Yeah, 2013 is definitely making me more money than 2012. Got a 2% raise at work.

I'm fooling around, of course. I've made zilch this year, but invested quite a bit so hopefully when you ask again in 2014 I'll have some awesome reports.

Absolutely! My earnings for this year are even better than last year, due to a lot of hardwork and effort that I have for my own products. It's all about dedication and creativity, which makes me earn a lot than my previous year.

If your earnings are not increasing year by year then it's time to have a serious look at your business. No matter what level you are at, your earnings should always be on an upward scale.

I would usually agree with this, but I'd like to add a twist to it.

If you're working the same amount of hours (or more) than a previous year and are earning less, something is usually wrong.

However, if you're working far less hours but still making a solid income (more than you would with the hours invested the previous year) then you're on the path toward freedom

My 2013 earnings with IM are already more than I made in 2012, that's mainly due to the fact I had to go back to a J.O.B last year after getting hit and becoming complacent with what was making me money online...

Basically I went full time IM back in 2009 and a couple years later I took a hit on a lot of what I was doing (plus if I'm totally honest I got lazy as the cash was coming in even if I wasn't doing a thing with my sites etc... realise that is a bad attitude now!) and the money I was left earning wasn't enough to support my family on, so a J.O.B was the only option... but it did mean I could see what I had done in IM that wasn't affected and copy that!

So all last year was building my own stuff back up again, based on what I had seen first hand worked, and I managed to do enough in that one year to get back to where I was before, and beyond, and then after waiting it out for a few months in 2013 to make sure it wasn't a fluke I handed in my notice in June and now do it all full time again...

So earnings up on 2012, and DEFINITELY up on 2011 when it all went a little rough for me!

My earnings has increased a lot since this time last year. I am very happy about that. I have actually been working a bit less but earning a bit more. Why less? I started utilizing my time online a lot better, less research, more action.

    What did I do different?
Last year I started focusing on list building a lot, paid traffic to a cool squeeze page with a nice seriously helpful must have oto.

In 2012 I was making a decent amount even though I was charging much less. I had a regular client who could supply me with as much work as I could handle so I just rocked it and pumped out as many articles as I could and I was making a decent amount.

Unfortunately, I have not created any other sources of income right now. I will definitely set up at least one niche specific website in the coming months and give that shot. Also looking into affiliate marketing with paid traffic....

    Will see how things go.

I have good months and bad months.

My Profits have increased greatly this year, from last year.
Each year, I earn more than the previous years.

    Why it has increased:

    1) My Knowledge, Experience and Skill has increased.

    2) My Focus and Workflow has improved.

    3) I take more Action. I get more things done.

    4) I utilize my Time more effectively, including knowing when to take a break and recover.

For me, it's mostly a matter of time.
I learn from my tests, my mistakes, my experiences.

At the same time, I need to allow for a natural growth of my businesses. I can't push myself to hire 40 new staff to try to double-up on the number of orders we process daily. That would result in disorder and unhappy clients.

It takes time to build and expand a business. So time is a major factor for me right now.
I know that by next year, I'll be earning a lot more than I am right now.

    -----

Forgot to mention that now, I also work less than I did last year.
Less time spent on the computer, but my working hours are of higher quality, more focused.

I gotta say footbag_man, you really know how to plan ahead!

For me, my online income has gone up dramatically from last year.

Why? I dropped Google completely as an income source and started targeting SME (50 - 200 employees) instead of smaller companies. They have a lot more money that they are willing to spend, are generally happier with the results, and they stay on as long term clients.

Long term clients, ooooooo now those are the ones you want

It's great having hits here and there, but if you can get just a few clients who will stay long term and help increase your revenues while also depleting the amount of time you have to put in, it's AMAZING.

I haven't gone backwards. In fact I'm more free than ever. In the 3 1/2 years, I've finally discovered what direction I want to go for the most freedom.

I'm in the process of buying a conversion van (or RV), motorcycle, and trailer with my girlfriend and we're going to see where life takes us. It's an amazing experience to be able to actually be FREE from working 12 hours a day and still making good money.

Despite having a slow summer by end of July I had already made as much as I did all of 2012 which I am very pleased with and hope the trend continues. The only real change is that I am promoting my business sites more so I have picked up quite a few new clients this year.

Yes I can increase my earning in last year with help of online marketing.
We cannot ignore the value of money. Money does have a huge importance in every individual life. In fact, no one can survive without money. Today recession is prevailing all over the world. It has dried up the economic power of millions of people in most recent times. Therefore everyone is looking for some good opportunities in order to stay live in this world.
Try to learn SEO immediately for the reason that it can really do wonders in your life. Today search engine optimization is amongst the most competitive ways to get organic traffic on the corporate website. The second most crucial web marketing technique is called as cost per action (CPA) through which one can surely make some good online earning. On the other hand, you can do some data entry jobs so as to survive in historic recessionary phase.
