What Advice Would You Give For English/Spanish Translation Services

by dalvia 1 replies
Hey Everyone,

I've got around 115pages of written interviews that I want translated into Spanish, but since this is my first time, what advice do you have before I post it for a freelancer?

1) How much should I be paying? per page?
2) How long should it take?
3) How do I know if the translation is any good?

All advice would be wonderful,

Thanks Warriors,
D

You can check the quality of the translation by either having a native speaker check it for you, or by having it translated back into English.

Either way, I'd start by giving a potential contractor a few pages to do first. Check the quality before giving the whole assignment.
