I had good success with Freelancer. Usually, you can get some good ones from the Philippines.

They used to be very inexpensive (like $200 a month) but now the going rate is $500 which is great because they're well worth it

    Have fun!

I've done this for quite a while. Stay away from Philippines if you are in the US. Time zone makes it too difficult. I hire on eLance, all in US and Canada and hire on a part-time basis.

If you're looking to hire someone full-time, you can try onlinejobs.ph. And the time zone difference isn't really a problem. You can specify in your job post that you'll need your VA to work in your time zone. It's not a big deal anymore because a lot of us work to accommodate our client's time

According to the quantum work you want to provide, a good virtual assistant may be appointed. Other wise you may get your work done through freelance sites like odesk, elance and freelancer.com After studying their quality of work you may appoint one of them as your virtual assistant.

    Hi,

You can find a great VA at IVAA - International Virtual Assistants Association. They have an RFP system you can use. Find someone in a small town in the US and you can get a native English speaker for very good rates.

You can outsource many tasks to people on Fiverr. Lot more economical. Just make certain anyone you deal has good feedback ratings.

I used a virtual assistant from the Philippines through oDesk once, and got ripped off. Black outs she said, constant black outs. There aren't that many Black outs in the world. After that experience, I would recommend paying for the work in phases, and only pay AFTER the phases are complete.

My virtual assistant may not work for you, you have to find one that is good at what you want. I have two.

I pay one 400 a month and one 250 a month. I got both at easyoutsource.

They can be life savers if you have the right ones, they can be nightmares if you do not.

Just check there ratings then search them on the net, they will have more links to other sites it's not hard. See what type of jobs got them the best feedback.

Mine work are out of the Philippines, I have no problems whatsoever, I require a 30 minute meeting once a day, I time it either for there morning or night.

I require excellent English and I talk to them I give them a small paragraph to write for me. You know a lot of peoples first language is English even though they weren't born there.

Just check there ratings and talk to them you will find a good one. Plus the Phillipines are the lowest priced. I have 2 full time 160 hour a month employees so 320 hours total at 650 a month, that's about 2 bucks an hour without breaking out the calculator.

Uncovering a virtual assistant might appear to be an irritation and it could be a touch pricey, yet having somebody who can handle the normal assignments is additionally an incredible route free up your opportunity to handle different parts of your business that can profit. You can try out shesgotsystems.com or craiglist to get good virtual assistant. I have tried them out and can say they will reply you back.

    Hello Alex,

You can find great VA's here:

Best Jobs Philippines :: Philippine job search, job bank, employment and recruitment

Hire the best Filipino employees and virtual assistants the Philippines has to offer!

Giving them (potential VA's) trial tasks and hiring them on probation is the way to go. It can be frustrating, but when you do find a gem it's all worth it.

It's important to have a process.
