Besides Ebay and CL Where Else Can U Sell Gently Used Clothes Online?

I know Ebay and CL is popular for selling gently used fashionable clothes and etc. However, Ebay fees are high, and I have tried selling on CL, but it didn't work. I know another way to sell used clothes and other items would be a yard sell, but my stuff is really nice and I am not trying to give away for low prices.

Any other online sites anyone can refer me to or ideas to make money with my stuff?

Thanks

If they are vintage you can try Etsy. Or you can try taking them to consignment stores and making money that way.

I found a local classifieds page for my city on Facebook and have been selling stuff there everyday. No fees, no lost in the mail and I am getting better prices then at the places you mentioned.

How do I find a FB local classified page for my city? This sounds great if I can do the same thing?

        Thanks

I dont know where the classifieds are on FB but you can join some buy, sell trade type of groups and sell things there. You get the added benefit of not having to ship the stuff.

I am a member of one in my area and there is always stuff for sell etc.

On facebook you just go to the search bar at the top and type in "St Louis buy" and several options in your area will show up below.

Im sure you can do the same thing using sell instead of buy.

          I hope this helps.

          To your success,

          Terri

oodle.com features local classifieds through facebook. You can also just post to your account. You never know who may be interested or knows someone who is.

AJMontoya, I agree. Etsy is a great place for vintage. Believe it or not, another great place is amazon. They are jumping on the used band wagon. Just make sure that your items are top shelf quality and people will give you good reviews. Yeah, those reviews can make or break you.

    Hello,

Does it have to be online? If not...I've had friends who've done really well selling nice quality used clothing at local consignment stores. It might be worth a try!

    Take care,

I tried a few local consignment shops/stores...they didn't want my stuff. They said they were not in season, not in style, or was trying to pay me very little for my stuff.

    3) And, oh yeah, Instagram.

(Click all three links and you'll see exactly how other sellers are making it work.)

Heyooo. I know this thread's a tad bit old, but I came across it in the Goog while doing my own searches around this topic, so I figured I'd throw in my two cents from my own research.

www.yoogiscloset.com is great for selling used high-end clothes, shoes, bags, etc.
www.thredup.com is great for selling more normally-priced (but still nice and in good condition) clothes, shoes, bags, etc.

Hope this helps anyone else coming across this thread. ^_^

Try poshmark & offerup. I haven't tried them yet since I've been on eBay so long and it's super easy for me.

My daughter sells on Depop and does pretty well.

You need to build up a list of followers to sell more stuff, she can sell stuff on there at retail price if it's just been worn once which does surprise me.

My wife uses ThreadUp and Poshmark to both buy and sell higher end used clothing, and does quite well with it. I'd recommend those sites.

If you cant sell them online you may try getting a booth at your local flea market and selling them there on the weekend. I don't know where you are from but it works really well here in Oklahoma City.
