Can I get your opinion on website name? I can't decide :(

First off, I appreciate you taking time out of your day to chime in here...

I have 2 ideas for a YouTube show/ and video blog... and I can't decide which one to go with.

I'm doing some market research and need your feedback and advice.

I would really appreciate your feedback and opinion on which show you would more likely watch BASED ON THE NAME & SUBJECT MATTER.

The Name & Brand are what I'm trying to nail down. So any input you have to offer is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

IDEA #1 - Man Vs. Business - manvsbusiness.com

The theme of this show/blog pits humankind AGAINST the struggles and challenges we all face as entrepreneurs and marketers. I was inspired by Man Vs. Food (if you've ever seen that show).

Along with the challenges/problems featured in each video, I'll be sharing specific solutions, strategies, tactics, and tips to overcome and blast through challenges to get results in your business. The show and blog would be a fusion of Personal Development, Online Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.

IDEA #2 - iConnectENGAGE - iconnectengage.com

The theme of this show/blog focuses on the Art & Science of attracting and winning more clients and customers. The theme of this show/blog focuses on the psychology of sales, marketing, and web conversions; How to take cold prospects and turn them into raving fans and loyal clients.

I address specific strategies to get prospects fired up about doing business with you. I currently coach clients and show them how to have conversations that lead to big ticket sales and huge jumps in income. That's the gist of it.

Again, I GREATLY appreciate any feedback or thoughts you have to offer.

I've already registered both domains.

Just to be clear, a few people are saying "Just do both."

I'm focused on building a site that I'll be shooting tons of videos on PERSONALLY.

So I'm not interested in doing both. What I'm really asking is "IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE, which idea do you think is better? and why?"

A couple questions...

Which URL would you more likely click on based on the name alone?

Which show/blog theme would more likely engage your interest?

Why not both? Plus you might not want to out your possible domain choices(if they are still available), never know someone might scoop them up

GetBack2it -Thanks for starting off the conversation. I would love to do both. But I'm going to be focusing a lot of time creating videos for the long haul. For now, I need to focus on one idea. So if you had to pick one, which idea is more appealing to you?

        Kai Pei ,

Register both domains and do one project.
You can use the other domain when the time is appropiate.

Buy both domains, make one a redirect to the other. Watch the stats, and determine which one you want to keep.

You are doing the right thing in getting feedback to determine which would be better. In this free PDF (no opt-in required) http://incomenow.org/7-day the concept of coming up with about 12 product ideas then doing a survey to see which one is best is discussed.

I found it useful for me, perhaps it could help you.

P.S. I like the business name better as it would be closer to something that I might search for.

Christina, THANK YOU so much for your opinion. It's nice to have a female opinion.

Truth is, part of me was wondering if Man Vs. Business is too GUY-CENTRIC... LOL

The show/blog will be catering to men AND women alike. So thanks again

manvsbusiness.com as it creates curiosity and therefor sounds more appealing to me. But your hook/angle, how you present everything and the real content are much more important than just the name.

If you are not sure, make a test and track the results. This is always the best thing to do. My gut feeling is a good indicator when it comes to solving challenges but not so good when it comes to marketing decisions. Testing might not be the sexiest thing on earth but it's so worth it. Hope that helps!

Based on the name alone I would go with Man vs Business, probably on the simple fact of Man Vs Food. Love that show.

As to which one would engage my interest, i would say the second. As an IM i am always intrigued as to what engages my visitors/clients.
I mean there is a study that shows that certain colors are more effective. It as simple as changing your Buy It Now button to a different color that can lead to more sales

iConnectENGAGE..... iConnect or iEngage, fine, but iConnectEngage is too much. It doesn't make any sense either.

Man Vs. Business probably draws a level of attention just based on the name alone. If you can get really creative with this you might have something.

The second option is far more interesting for your clients. They want to have more customers without a doubt.

Most people are not interested on the fact that they are human beings and they have to care about other things besides their business. They want to make sales. This is what will definitively attract many people.

Go for iconnectengage.com. You will have better results.
