What else do I need to do?

Besides the obvious things such as creating content and monetization, what else do I need to for the website. "writing4riches.com" I have no way to profit off of this website, so I hope this isnt against the rules. What other plugins should I download? Also, what would be the first monetization I should do with this? Adsense or clickbank?

The first thing you need to do is to change the domain-name.

Professional writers, and those aspiring to become professional writers, are exactly the people most likely to object to the use of "4" instead of "for" in a domain-named, form an instant prejudice against and mistrust of the site, and avoid it altogether. (I promise I don't mean it rudely, but - seriously - how can you be involved in this niche, yourself, and not realize this? You're starting off under a major, self-imposed handicap, here ... ).

Yes I considered this, but names in this niche are far and few between. I will consider changing it, but would this mean I need to start all the way over?

writing-for-riches.com is unregistered and available, and incomparably better!

(I don't say it's ideal - in fact it's probably not ideal at all: you can clearly do far better, but don't use a "4"!).

I don't know what you've done so far ... there seems to be nothing on the site, yet? The front page post says "Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!"

(I think "riches" is a very bad word to use in the name of a professional website: to many people, it sounds really scammy).

When you say "start over" your site has virtually nothing in it so what's to start over with??? You need to start as you intend to continue...professionally.
If you hope to attract writing work then your reputation needs to begin with a decent name. As Lexy said, using a '4' is ridiculous...and if you are a writer, you should have known that before you chose the name.
