My Milestone Question - Qty of Products

Hello all,

I'm new here and the affiliate market. Finally (emphasized) identified my niche, uncommon/unique/novelty products, which I enjoy and the existing blogs/sites I research for # of visits are high.

My question: Is is it reasonable to have a product-oriented blog with a link to the affiliate stores for each posted item (or several) along with my sidebar of store links. In other words, it is ok to have many/multiple products for referral/sale?

I'm asking because I've done much research on niches and have seen articles that say to focus on only a few products. However, these gadget/novelty sites have the most traffic.

Thank you,
Glenn

    Is it okay?

    Sure.

    Is it reasonable?

    Hard to say.

Are you building the affiliate stores also, or are you just running the blog?

It will be enough work just to run and maintain your product review blog, much less build out anything else.

If you are just creating a product review blog for novelty items, you are better off using Amazon for their trust factor in the marketplace (assuming you live in a state that they haven't booted from their affiliate platform).

Thank you. Just the blog, not store. The blog will have all the products. I was planning to also put ads on the side of the page to main stores. This allow users to both select individual products in the blog (to various stores with affiliate programs), and the main store ads on the side page.

Is amazon prosperous, wasn't sure about the potential.

I would use everything that doesn't take away from the content on your site. This is something that you will have to test. Just like using adsense the best places to put the ad is where?

A: Where your visitors will see them.

Even though I am in a different niche, if your blog post is interesting and compelling your readers just may click on a link in the post itself.

Test various things and test often eventually you will find the sweet spot
