Hey yall,

I have just started looking in to Traffic Exchanges and Im thinking about joining one.

Before I do though I figured I would get some "real" advice about them.

Has anyone had any luck using them? If so....can ya recommend a good one?

Thanks in Advance!

Terri

However I am with Dennis.....Curious! Since I basically know diddly squat about exchanges would you mind elaborating on your comment.

  • Traffic exchanges are old school and don't work. Everyone using traffic exchanges has the same goal -- to get traffic. They aren't in buying mode at all. They are a waste of time. If you're doing SEO, focus on techniques that actually work like forum and blog commenting and such.

      Exactly so.

That can make them an absolutely ideal, perfectly targeted audience if you're building a list by giving away a free e-book called "3 Ways To Get Traffic That You've Never Heard Of" and then using the list to promote the product you're selling, which is called "And 5 Even More Brilliant Ways To Get Traffic That Nobody Else Has Ever Heard Of Either". Traffic exchanges can be a goldmine for that kind of business.

It depends what you use them for. They're not a waste of time to people doing what I've mentioned above, Joey. But if you're not doing something pretty much like that, then yes: they're a waste of time for you. It's all about relevance.
