How do "download now" clickbank prods work?

You can "download this software" will the user get charged during download? Or will they download free trail ect and then have to upgrade,

    What quite often happens with this kind of product, I think, is that anyone can download the software free of charge, which will perform its "diagnostic tests" on their computers. After it's identified various problems, they then need either to download another one which will fix the problems identified, or an "unlocking key/password" which will enable them to use part of the software they've already downloaded, to fix the problems identified. So the product being paid for is sometimes just a "password key" to be able to use something they've already downloaded without paying.

    I don't think any of this has anything to do with the fact that ClickBank sometimes happens to be the retailer, though. The principle is the same anywhere, with products like this, I think.

    I understand now, Its just i am looking through some products on clickbank and am trying to research ect, I can see how this type of marketing would work,
