Converting an Adsense Site to an E-commerce Site

I have an adsense site that currently makes 300 per month and recieves 10,000 uniques with 54 percent of the traffic going to the homepage, witht the rest going to posts and images.

This site ranks number 7 for the main term (673,000) searches per month and 5 for the second term in the niche (40,500).

Every other site on the first page of google for these keyword is an commerce site. I own and operate other ecommerce sites and I use the yahoo platform.

My question is if I take the domain and its links and point it a yahoo store how much risk an I taking in losing ranking power.

I would like to make money with this domain, but I'm also happy with my 300 per month.

    Guess it depends on how you plan to do it. Re-directing pages or pushing links to the e-comm site.

    Your site got it's ranks for what was on the site, redirects are going to bypass those pages/content, most likely it will loss ranks because your pointing to different pages. Just my thoughts.

    Or I misunderstood what you were asking?
