Done For You / Plug in Sales Funnels Whats Your View?

Hi everyone,

There has been an increasing number of join my sales funnel type opportunities being offered by some of the bigger marketers, basically joining to market their business for a fee, sort of a mini franchise where you promote their landing page and then get anywhere from 100% commission on lower priced products to 50% on back end often involving multiple products

On the face of it, its great if you do not have your own product to promote and you can piggy back on their funnel selling their evergreen products some which are very high end they also do the follow up sequence in their autoresponder and some even promise to make phone sales.

the only drawback I can see is that your building their list rather than your own and also your business is dependant on the success of their products and conversion, if something was to happen to their business you could be left out in cold back where you started

I would really be interested to know your views there are lots of good markets doing this is it a viable option for some any advice or experience you guys/girls have appreciated as been asked on few occasions and want to get general consensus

I think it is a short-term approach to marketing.

Although these opportunities may bring in some money.

The user is not necessarily learning the skills and getting
the experience they need to build their own business.

Building a list for some one else and not yourself,
is definitely not doing yourself any favors.

The problem with this kind of "gimme-the-money-now" mentality

is that it is very similar to the, "chasing-the-next-shiny-object" mentality.

The one who gets the "buyer" list is the one who really benefits from this arrangement.

In saying that it can be a good place to "get your feet wet" with traffic,
    free and paid.

Once you can drive consistent, then you really only need to get good at producing offers.

It's good to get you started, but it is worth tailoring the funnel with your own follow ups.
    Make it more personalised.
I bought a couple - one was really good, the other not so.

There's lots of 100% FE Commision products to promote that don't charge you to send traffic to them, that's stupid. And as for building their list not yours, the best way to promote those products is by mailing your own lists anyways. So you should get people on your list prior to emailing them links to these products.

If you want to build your list, and still promote someone else's sales funnel you could create a free ebook that people have to sign up to your list to get. Have the copy lead the reader to the conclusion that the sales funnel product is a good idea.

Ex: You create an ebook "10 Tips on Training your Doberman puppy". The info in the copy talks about the 10 tips specifically, but the conclusion points out how challenging, and time consuming it can be to train the puppy, and that how spending the extra money to send the puppy to behavior classes would be money well spent.

You then have a link to the Puppy Training membership site that offers one-on-one training for the puppy (a representative is sent out to the person's home to evaluate the puppy, and set up a training schedule for the puppy). The membership site is for people to trade photos, share experiences, and gain access to any "free" extras that are available.

Just an example, but I think it illustrates my point.

My view on done for you sales funnels is find affiliate products you want to promote that come with sales funnels.Send your leads to your squeeze page to capture there name and email address. Most affiliate offers come with email followup messages for your autoresponder, all you do is ad your link so you get payed. That`s what i`am doing and having success with this method.Well that`s my two cents worth.

Any type of affiliate marketing like that, you should always be sending any paid traffic to your own squeeze page first. Only after you have captured those leads would you then send them over to a third party offer.

Direct linking is done by many and it does work but as you said, the moment any of those offers go down, so does that part of your business. So always be building your own assets when you can such as your own lists.
