What Would You Do If You Had Only $100.00 To Spend?

What kind of advertising would you do if you had only $100.00 to spend to advertise a website that sells relationships guide?

Let's assume that sales copy is good and it is direct response website, one page sales copy written by a very good copywriter.

I'm thinking of doing PPV on it. Would it be a good choice?

There are some solo ad vendors in the relationship niche and with good copy writing you'll definitely have the advantage. Strategies used in the IM niche are not often used in other niches

DJNeill, would you mind to share where can I get them? Are you talking about solo ads like ordering your ad to be sent out in a newsletter?

I was wondering if there is a place where you can order newsletter ads... Not spam, but people who have legit targeted lists.

You need some great targeting + very eye catching images.

At least two of the main PPV companies will want more than a $100 investment to get started.

Then you may be contending with less-than-ideal window sizes, in which case you'd have to redesign your site to eliminate horizontal scrolling and to ensure you're getting a solid attention-grabber in the available window size.

Then there's the fact that the PPV companies are just plain shady, regardless of the spiel about opt-in adware. Lots of people have found their successful CPA campaigns hijacked by the companies. This isn't as much of a problem when you have your own product (as you apparently do).

I Work hard with free methods and earn first $1000, Now, I've a brilliant idea that how should I spend $100.00 due to the product what I'm selling?

  • The best way would be a solo mail blast or a blog post from a reputed blogger in your niche. Give him a tracking link so you can track your ROI, and determine whether to continue investing in that type of campaigns or not.

This would honestly be the best way to go. Then you would be able to find out as well as see how well that your offer actually converts.

Save up until I had the money to give CPA marketing through pay per click traffic a proper try which means at least $1000 in my opinion.

If you not sure what you doing with PPV you will lose money really quick. And most PPV will need start up cost. From $25-$100 and they are not refundable.

You can try create a short report with tips and a landing page/squeeze page to build an email list.

Then you can try getting traffic from plenty of fish ads or facebook ads.

If you want to get traffic free, you can try youtube (free if you make video yourself), then promote your videos through social media. You can do a search on how to promote videos.

    Hope that helps...

Here's what I would do...Facebook PPC with excellent targeting sending the traffic directly to the squeeze page offering something highly valuable. You would want at least a .05% CTR. Your opt-in page should convert at between 15-20%.

After opt-in, I would send them to a thank you/oto page with a great product to sell.

    Then focus on email marketing.

Ron's advice is spot on,i didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that....lol....but it's so true.I would say unless you have experience and past success with PPV,don't bother.Part of the process with becoming successful at ANY method of driving traffic THAT CONVERTS,is time and/or money, and $100 is very unlikely to last long enough for you to test and figure out what works. So you have to ask yourself, which of these two resources do you have more of,to use until you find what works for your product, time,or money?I suspect from your post that it's the former,in which case i'd be tempted to build relationships and jv's with others in your niche. There must be a ton of sites in this market that have an audience of some size. Why not offer them a good % of any ebooks they sell? And start with sites that have a fairly small audience to test your conversion etc first, before you go for larger audiences...you only need one or two really good JV partners to make a decent living...hint:don't just send them an email like every other person does....

Paid reviews. Concact two of the most popular blogs in the niche or around to write a detailed reviews of the book, then promote the reviews through forum, social media and blog comment.

What ever you decide to do Don't pay for reviews, often you see some good advice in threads but this is probably the worst advice I have seen in a long time, consider a better option of promoting your product, Not by using a webpage but by using more modern methods, forget all the pay per actions, its a waste of time, what you need to do is to get involved in the digital marketplaces that can really bring results.

Amazon, kindle, Mobile Applications, perhaps some advertising here and there in app ads that target specific segments of your target market.

Wasn't there a WF thread on paid reviews where someone got fined a few hundred thousand dollars? If your product is 'that' good, people would be leaving real testimonials without getting paid.

I would go to work and save more money for big advertisement investments.

Well, I tried many many so called "$50 gets you rich shiit". All of those coaching programs are full of affiliate purchases that bait you to buy more worthless shiit.

So, one day I decided to save some money and hired a reliable SEO company. It cost around $3k, they ranked my site's 5 keywords (very compitative) to the first page of Google with contract, and now I'm earning $2000 a month. Not a lot, that's why I'm still working a regular job. But this income really helped with my life.

Doing cheap GG PPC with about 10 cent/ click (Well managed ) $100 +$50 Adword Coupon=1500 Clicks. If your projects run well, it could grow your list to about 300-500 leads. Could be a good investment.

For a dating/relationship offer and only $100 for advertising.. I would go for Plenty of Fish or Facebook Ads. Facebook pages are a great way to test a market. It's easy to see what people want and what their willing to buy.

Let me give you a full recipe of what I would do...

I would create a facebook fan page using the product name or general keyword. Build an audience (in facebook ads manager) that is highly targeted from famous pages, events and groups. There's a lot of software that can help you do this...

Once I have an audience of around 100k then the advertising cost for all my ads will be cheaper because I built my own audience and I don't rely on facebook's demographics and false targeting options. I usually take this process slow when I start so I can see if the market is worth working on or not.

This always costs me $0.05 or less per like. I spend $3 per day, for 9 days. With this I get 60+ fans per day and track the engagement.

Then I will create 2 to 3 image posts a day with links pointing to blog posts from well known blogs. I'll do this for at least 9 days. I use different posts till I see what the audience like and work on monetizing that. I don't build a product 1st or choose a product without testing what the niche wants.

Note: The main reason I send them to a blog post is because I want them to get used to seeing links on the page so they don't get mad when I send them a link to a product. Blog posts are always informative and valuable!

So take some time to find out who wants that product and sell it to them. If it happens that the people are not engaging to your posts or sometimes you don't even reach 60 likes a day then just know it's not a good market or you need another angle or product.

But if they engage and share your posts then you know you're on the right track then you can invest more money. You can get good amount of traffic on facebook. So I would advise you to go for Plenty of Fish or Facebook.

    Good luck
