The Easy Solution To Your Problems..

A marketing angle that works extremely well and can bring you many sales.

Is to offer an"easy-solution-to-whatever-problem-they're-experiencing" angle.

As well as other products, this strategy is applied a lot with Internet Marketing products,
for example there are many offers that telling you:

"How easy it is to make truck-loads of cash if you buy this product"

I've heard many marketers say this angle is so effective because,
humans are lazy.

I think in most cases this is total B.S. In fact I the people sprouting this crap are the lazy-asses.

The reason I think the "easy" angle is so effective is because genetically,
we are hard-wired to spend the least amount of energy possible to get what we want.

For example if you spend more energy catching what you eat,
than what your food gives you.

"Yer gunna run out of energy."

This is the same for everything in nature.

(Admittedly lately we humans may have "lost" our way a little, for example the good 'ol' US of A, has about 5% of the worlds population, yet it consumes around 25% of it's resources.)

But on a whole, generally we try to spend the least amount to get what we want.

(Look at how popular coupons are)

So by associating your product with the "easy" angle and as well as other "angles" you're
tapping into the primal, decision making places in your potential customer's brain.

And these places over-ride the more logical decision places.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

And "Take It Easy"

    QT,

Agreed regarding the popularity of the "easy" angle. Given a choice between "easier" or "harder" most folks jump at the former.

The challenge I see with the "easy" angle is that it is so over-used and mis-used that it has taken on a "scam" overtone, if you will.

So many marketers have claimed that their system or product is "push button easy" or "autopilot" simple . . . when in fact it is still useless or at best marginal . . . that my BS meter goes off whenever "easy" is promoted.

Yes, we all are drawn to "easy" but in fact, "easy" has become trite and the hallmark for "you'd better watch out because this is probably too good to be true."

    Just my thoughts.

Granted it is very over-used Steve.

Maybe this is due to some marketers being lazy, or because
for every one "aware" person like yourself there are many more,
      who still take the bait.

After blowing my fair chunk of cash on "easy" angle products.

I now know that Online Marketing is easy,
but you have to bust ya balls first, then it becomes easy.

This is so true. I think pretty much anyone who sees an ad that says "$100 a day in 7 days" will respond to it better than if the ad said "$100 a day in 60 days".

Most people that want to make money online usually need the money as soon as possible and the thought of spending 2-6 months to make money that they need now is hard to grasp.

Now, there are the group of people that have tried programs that promised them fast money and realized that making a consistent income online takes time and effort. This group of people will respond better to the ad that says "$100 a day in 60 days" than the ad that says "$100 a day in 7 days".

Replacing the 'easy' with 'free' could have me jumping through this monitor to grab what you are offering in a heartbeat allowing you the Upsell.

One thing I'm looking at on this WF is the hundreds of Banner ads to $3000 a day or $5000 a day or $10,000 a day. Yeah, right. Gimme a break. But to offer: "Copy my system to $250 a day"... and watch how fast I'll reach out to grab you!!!

Gotta be something here to think about...

    I agree mostly but....

Let's take the MMO niche as an example.

Well, it depends on how you position yourself as a marketer and how you advertise your business.

Now while most marketers are selling "easy" solutions which don't work and/or give little results, you can advertise your business as a "real, harder-to-achieve" solution and target those who already realized that it takes effort and consistent work in order to achieve any level of success.

Same goes with other niches, especially those that have that "scam" risk on the buyer side. The key to succeeding as an internet marketer is to KNOW exactly who is your target market and offering something that solves a SPECIFIC problem for your market.
