Hello warriors, I hope all of you are doing well

I started my first project on the internet 3 months ago now, I created a squeeze page in which I offer to visitors a free 25 days weight loss program, 3 weight loss secrets and an e-book " I re-write it to pre-sell" if they opt in. now the headlines and the text on the squeeze page wasn't as convincing as I thought, from 80 visitors only 8 subscribed.

on the follow up messages, I give them in the first message the free stuff and I tell them that we are going to start the program starting from tomorrow, and from there I setup the autoresponder to send a message everyday for 25 days to complete the program.

How I thought I can make money from that is to suggest other programs and products "the workout, weight loss hypnosis, how to get flat abs", I try to make the messages that contain the product have the same topic and theme that the product have. so basically I promote five products, the first in the day 5, the second on day 10, the third one on day 19 and the fourth one on day 21 and I remind them about all the products in the last day.

from the 8 subscribers, 3 of them opened up the first message and the first day in the program, one of them opened up all the e-mails I sent till now which is the day 10, but he didn't buy the first product on the fifth day.

Finally, I know that my headlines and my squeeze page text isn't convincing so I'll try to work it out with a copywriter, my question is, will my strategy in the follow up e-mails work if I got more subscribers after I make the squeeze page much more persuasive? do you think that the strategy in which I promote the products in the messages is good? what can you tell me to help me improve anything? it's been one month now and I haven't made any sale, well of course I won't make it with only 8 subscribers, but I really wanna hear your thoughts guys about my follow up messages strategy if it's good or should I have to change it.

Thank you all and I'm very very sorry for the long post.

    Send more visitors.

Change little parts of your squeeze page every few hundred or so visitors and see if it helps or hurts to get more subscribers. If it hurts change it back and then change something else, if it helps keep it and change something else.

Do the same with your email campaign, change headlines, text, affiliate offers, etc...

Success will come to you if you keep driving traffic and keep testing, tweaking things.

If 1 person out of 8 has opened up 10 emails in a row day after day, you're on the right track. Just need to keep at it.

You need higher numbers to get meaningful data. 8 subscribers and the data that gives you will not allow you to reach any conclusions of merit at all.

8 out of 80 might not be exceptional but it's not a horrible opt-in rate either, depending on the traffic source aiming for 20% and above is what I'd consider to be a reasonable level from there the question becomes what's the follow-up offer? I'd actually suggest testing something very low cost right at the moment of opt-in, in other words redirect them immediately to a sales page where you sell some companion product for say less than $9 and use a video sales letter to sell it. It's a massive step to get them to buy even just a very inexpensive purchase of a couple dollars and they are hot when they sign up so you might as well strike then and test to see what you can get. Realistically, I wouldn't expect more than 20% of those who opt-in to actually buy, in fact you're doing pretty good with those numbers, meaning you might get 1 sale from every 25 visitors (you can of course do better and worse depending on a ton of factors) but to have meaningful data you're probably going to want to run 250+ people through the page to see how it really performs, you might even consider making a few variations of the page and running 250 people through each of them to see how they perform relative to one another (the learning is the tough part).

Try to build lots of ways to monetize into your funnel for example you could have affiliate links to websites selling supplements, training equipment, etc. in several of your emails in addition to products you might sell directly. Split test and measure but you need volumes of traffic to make the split testing worthwhile.

A good tip is to fail fast, hammer your opt-in page with visitors and get some stats on there as mentioned your metrics are too low to give you a solid feedback run some fb ads or promoteyour page like crazy till you get 500+ visitors be sure to track your sources with google analitics so you know which streams work the reality is about 1% buy on frst contact so try not to get discouraged and ensure your adding value thorugh normal non selling email your list will respond accordingly if not opening try to adjust headline and content and show more of your personality well done for starting just keep learning and always ask questions hope that helps
