Email list frequency

I am curious to get a poll going of what many of you think is the best frequency in which to set your autoresponder to email your list.

Some gurus say everyday
(I feel this can lead to blindness from your audience as they become used to seeing your name everyday)

Some say every 2-3 days (This sounds a little better. Not enough to be annoying but often enough for them to remember you)

Some say every week (This might be less annoying to your audience but may take forever to make a sale!

And some say even longer than that....

So please chime in with what frequency has gotten you the best results and why you think (or know) the reason behind it is.

    Hi Dan, you need to set and then match subscriber expectations. Once a week if they expect it once a week. Once a day if they expect it once a day.
