Why am I getting all these webinar notices?

I keep getting notices of webinars that i have not subscribed to. What the hell is going on. I unsubscribe to most all advertising email i receive. so I only get a few that I want to stay subscribed to. Yet i get webinar notices to so many webinars that i have not subscribed to it just amazes me.

I have not subscribed to any webinars in more than two months, and then only a couple. I just hate siting through an hour or hour and a half to learn very little and then get a pitch for $197 to 497 or more. I ain't gonna buy it, and I learn almost nothing, so what is thew point?

How the hell do I get off these webinar lists?

I have unsubscribed, yet they keep coming in. They make out like I registered for them, yet I never did. I have not registered for a webinar in about two months.

Appears, You email may be added to various accounts. I am sorry i can not remember the name of the program. ( anti spam filtering or similar )

However there are certain free programs / software you can integrate with your emailing system where the user who sends you the email must verify they are human ( captcha code etc ) So it will not land into your inbox unless they complete that process.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I keep wondering if GoToMeeting has a feature to import a list and have those people automatically mailed for upcoming webinars.. or if not importing a list, have all previous registered attendees be automatically registered for future webinars. I get auto confirmations of webinars I never registered for either - and from people who have not bought my address from anyone. Generally from people who I have, in the past, sat in on a webinar with.

I think you are right Jenny. It could only be that I believe. I know this, it is tiring dumping all the advertising in my email every day. It seems like a daily job to go through email and unsubscribe.

Looks like your were subscribed to some website which are selling their email lists. This has been a very common problem now a days. Create a filter to mark those webiner notices as spam and let them go there.
