Keyword research
Hello! Unbelievably a simple search of "keyword research" did not yield any obvious results, so I'm asking you all for help.
How do you all do keyword research? I've read a bunch on targeting keywords, but I think most people just assume its a foregone conclusion and that the research is easy.
I've written about 20 articles naturally without targeting keywords, and I have no clue if these articles are ranked for any keywords or if they have helped my site at all. Is there a way to see if my articles rank for any keywords? I just used pieces of my title for tags and such.
Second question, not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I bought market samurai and watched the tutorials. And I am beating my head against the wall. Even key phrases that are distantly related to my niche, are extremely competitive. And that is for 20-30 hits. Is there an easier way to target long tailed keywords. I don't mind the minimum hits, but combined with the competition, it feels like I am doing something wrong.
