I would like to find a very patient mentor

I am looking for help to make some extra money.
I don't understand a lot of ways to make money online. No such thing as the internet when I was growing up.
I tried surveys(never qualified), writing(not very good), gpt(took to long to do and they want money). I tried doing a website but no money or understanding on how to promote it. I tried CJ, Amazon and Clickbank but again I don't understand.
I am on disability so I don't have any extra money.
My paypal account is currently$0.26. My checking account is even lower. No credit card either.

also, I am willing to help anyone out with any task as long as I get some instructions and compensation.

Im a beginner too, and I think it would help any potential mentors to know what skills you are good at, that way they can guide you in the right direction.

If you have Paypal, you can go to fiverr and start selling your skills. That will be good for your fast cash.

    So, get a job.

But you expect someone to take time away from
running their own business to help you even though
you neither understand nor have any skills or ability.

So, you can't afford to pay anything either.

And YOU want to be compensated!

    GET A JOB.

Yes, it's harsh. BUT, it's a darn site more realistic
than raising any hope of you being able to make
    extra money online.

I have been working since I was 18 in retail and am now DISABLED from unloading trucks and putting merchandise on the shelves. ALL I asked for was some help to understand things. I DIDN'T ask anyone to be taken away from their jobs. Apparently someone who has been WORKING for 35 years and now needs help does not matter to you. You can come on here and say get a job but you can't say "try this method or go here to learn?" You know what KARMA is ...well so am I

You couldn't be further from the truth. I do
care about helping people... BUT, I'm not just
going to tell you what you want to hear.. I've
        told you a hard truth.

You're not going to get the kind of help you are
looking for unless and until YOU learn the basics.

Internet Marketing is a tough and lonely existence
to begin with. YOU need to change your mindset.

No need to be so harsh dude.. They're on disability which means they can't work. I would know because my moms on disability. But yes, the OP does need to take initiative to learn everything by googling for answers and such. But we're on this forum to help others, correct? We should push the OP in the right direction.

dude, there is a vast assortment of free information on this forum that can make you a on of money. You just have to go and look for it.

Then take action. There is not one successful online entrepreneur that hit a home run their first time at bat. You need to learn a ton of stuff and fail your way to success.

There are going to be setbacks, as you've already discovered, but you gotta keep at it if you want to succeed. If you just want to make a few extra $$ on the side, then set up a review page and add a clickbank product and drive traffic to that page.

There are no free lunches, and find a mentor that will help you for free, aint gonna happen, unless you already know of someone who is a buddy and is willing to help. The best way is to go out and research what works and what you want to accomplish.

I say this with the utmost sincerity...
Do NOT expect to succeed with making money online (or anything else for that matter) if you keep hiding behind the excuse that you "don't understand" or it "goes over your head". EVERYONE here was in your shoes at one time, and there is no magic button to push for money to come flying out your computer. You need to learn ALOT on your own before you can work with a mentor. They are called MENTORS, not hand-holders. They are there to TELL you what to do that actually works, not to TEACH you how to do it as well. You don't know how to drive traffic, or set up a website, or whatever? GOOGLE IT. YouTube it. Find out what you need to know. You have to show initiative and drive, and this means pulling your own weight. After you have learned how to do a few skills, then a mentor may be able to help you.

        All the best,
        YaniB

If you don't have money, you need to look for a job.

... while you can start an online business.

use free blogspot.com + affiliate programs + seo on google.

You need to learn knowledge about internet marketing from this forum, e.g: seo, affiliate program.

    Hi,
Most of the things that you have mentioned are more or less along the lines of making a business investment, which means you will be required to have some disposable cash at your end, if I were you then I will start by selling a skill, saving some money then investing it. I see that you tried GPT, if you went traditional then know that it is really hard, I will recommend that you give mobile gpt a try, its exceedingly new and a great way to make some fast cash. I have a ton of information on this and if you are interested then send me a pm here.

    Aprilhct,

You can always find a way to work with your disability. But you really must be willing to face the facts about your situation and then starting asking what can be done, rather than what cannot.

There is a huge mindset component with any business and perhaps especially with online business although that can be debated. The main point is you have to learn how to overcome or manage the inner obstacles. There is no way around it.

I presume you have time on your hands. You are a member of one of the greatest repositories of internet marketing knowledge, right here. You've been a member for several years. You should have or could have acquired quite a bit of knowledge and skills.

It's really simple: get it in gear and work hard to make something happen or do nothing. If you cannot get a job, then it's decide to work at this or watch TV for the rest of your life.

Have you thought about trying to get hired as a VA (virtual assistant)?

You can make a simple website outlining your accumulated life skills. Then start contacting businesses and inquire about VA opportunities.

Do you know how to use Microsoft Office Suite? If not, and you want to pursue the VA gig, then learn it.

There was a thread here several weeks ago with a link to an old version of Photoshop along with the license key. You have time. So you can download that and teach your self graphics and working with PS. Then build a simple site and look for work related to graphics.

There are lots of things you can do using free resources.

Your mindset and perspective needs to be adjusted so it is more inline with that of an entrepreneur. You can do it if you want to and decide to do it.

It's that simple even though it may seem hard. It's more like consistent action and dedicated practice - every day.

Don't feel sorry for your self. And we've all had moments when we did. But the difference is many or most of us did a course correction and engaged in right thinking.

    Ken

I started out making my first money with Kindle publishing. I'm not the best writer, but it worked for me. I started in February, and I've made around $9,000 from it so far.
Try it out, and use your profits to invest in more. I'm currently getting into email marketing and product creating, mostly in the Kindle niche, because that's what I know best so far.

All you need to publish on Kindle is to have decent grammar, which you can then apply auto-correct to. Fiction is the best market, but you can make money in non-fiction.
If you aren't good at writing stories, start in non fiction. Just look up a topic online, literally any topic. I've made money with juicer recipes, dieting tips, gun guides, how to make hoverboards, etc. Literally... any topic.
Just gather some information, put it together in a book, get a decent cover made (from Fiverr for $5 or by yourself if you can do it), and publish it.
      Costs nothing!
You may only make $40 your first month, but hey- it's a start, and you can re-invest that money into something else. Find a good course on this forum, take time and do your research.
Just don't chase all the shiny objects, that's an easy way to fail. At first, I had trouble avoiding all the different directions, but it's best to focus on one thing at a time.
If you're interested, I've got a beginner's guide to Kindle publishing. Send me a PM if you're interested in it, or you can do all your own research online.
      Good luck!

I am sorry to hear that you are broke and on disability. However there have been some amazing success stories of people who have made it online (in worst situations than yours).

It takes money, effort, time and being consistent to succeed online.

If you have no money, it is still up to you to find it. No matter what your financial situation is right now.

My advice to you would be get a job to pay your bills and take the financial weight off your shoulders but it seems that you can not because of your disabilities.

So then you have to find other 'creative' ways to raise some capital (at least a thousand bucks to get started). Maybe even borrow some if you have to.

When I first got started in this industry, I didn't have the funds to start anything up. I borrowed it.

Then if you do manage to find some start up, get started with a system that can teach you how to become successful.

The only way to learn here is by 'doing', not just learning.

And the free way to go is usually the longest route to success.

You can start setting up a simple web page or blog ( there are plenty of free blog sites) and pick a niche topic you are comfortable with such as weight loss, dating, etc and start posting articles consistently there..as well as on other related forum or blogs with links back to the your blog. Since you are familiar with Clickbank and CJ, find a related product to promote on your blog. Once you start getting traffic to your blog, you can expect some of the visitors clicking on your CB and CJ links and make some sales. If you need help with the specifics about the free blogs sites, and embedding Paypal, CB or CJ offer links on your blog, you can PM me privately. I hope that points you in one possible direction to get things started.
