Any real ways to prevent your Youtube channel from getting banned?

I see internet marketers get their YouTube channel banned frequently. Most will say they did not doing anything wrong to violate the terms of service. They usually say "I know haters are flagging all my videos" .. and if that is the case, I would assume that can happen to big companies that are using YouTube as well. How to prevent that from happening?

    Kailo,

I think the best you can do is to make sure that you are not violating the YouTube terms of service. Many people will say they are not - yet if they actually read the TOS and looked objectively at what they did, I believe in most cases they would find why they were banned.

The haters are going to hate no matter what steps you take. It's like competitors leaving bad reviews for a product - it's one of the challenges that most sellers have to deal with at some point. If you put out a great product (video) often the people that like it will stand up for you. Most folks realize when the "likes" significantly out number the "hates" that the hater should not be given undue credibility. Same with YouTube.

    Good luck,

    Steve

It depends on why said marketers are being flagged.

Ones that keep spamming comment sections with links, or that post essentially spam videos get reported and banned because nobody likes wasting time and bandwidth being tricked.

If marketer is unjustly reported, there are channels to fight ban with Youtube. I used to have few videos where I criticized some games and because I used footage of me playing said games I got reported for "copyright infringement". I simply filed form and had my videos reinstated.

Couldn't agree more. What kind of business are they running to get banned?

I've never had a video banned. The only time an account was closed was because an assistant had made multiple accounts with the same IP address. The key is to not make spammy junk videos and you can do great on Youtube.

    1) Sign up to vimeo and promote your videos on your own video blog

    2) Migrate to Dailymotion, Metacafe, Viddler, and Vimeo

Have a couple channels bro and keep them in good standing. Don't have so much invested in 1 channel and if you lose it, you pee your pants. Spread those assets around. I think youtube is starting to crack down on the flagging though.

As far as big companies their comp are NOT idiot marketers that are hating on them. They just hate by talking bad about other companies in their commercials lol.

A friend of mine had over 50k likes on one of his videos. Then a disgruntled customer (who felt cheated out of $13) started flagging his videos constantly, creating numerous fake accounts. Eventually my friend's Youtube channel was shut down from all the flagged videos. And, basically the videos were just about his service. Maybe Youtube figures if so many people bother to flag a video, then it must really be bad. Even if that is not always the situation. Sometimes a troll can wield unfair power on Youtube if they are persistent enough.

Don't go using services such as Vagex to buy views, likes and comments.
Any sudden surge in activity on your video is guranteed to either get your video removed or account closed.

If that were true than any video going viral suddenly would be removed. Its not that simple.

Youtube mostly reacts to people reporting video/channel/user. If nobody reports you, and they do not catch bot activity, your account is not bothered.

If you get mass reported, there is a chance they actually ban accounts reporting you, instead of your account, if they decide those accounts are bots.

Even if they remove your video, you can still appeal and win.

If you have multiple channels and they are banning one of them, they might ban others, depending on reason that channel is being banned.

I have experimented with several very different channels and actually found it pretty difficult to get banned. They let users get away with lot of insane things. Even direct copyright infringements can be contested and won by simply claiming fair use. But they want people to STAY on Youtube, so if your videos/posts are designed to mainly drive traffic off YT they tend to want said accounts gone.
