Printing Receipts

I need your opinion on this, when you print receipts for things you bought online
for tax and record purposes from your email do you copy it onto a fresh word or
notepad to print it out or do you just print it out from your email and let it show
the sender, receiver and all the other things that may not be necessary.

    I'd say to save them to disk some place, in their ENTIRETY, in case you get audited. I don't know about canada, but the IRS in the US can get NASTY! They can go back 3 years and, if they expect fraud, SEVEN! As for the tax agency, or accountant/preparer, the amounts and what they apply to, and possibly the area they were from, should be enough. 9 times out of ten, the totals alone should be enough.
