Site Apprasial....

Hey there! I have this website that is one month old.... in the one month its been around its generated about $21 in adsense earnings. It had 102 unique visitors last month and 227 this month (according to statpress)

(Google Anaylitics shows that its only had 80 visitors between this month and last month because I swapped themes and didn't have anyaltics properly installed for like a week....oops....)

The site currently has 24 published articls at about 400 words.....and 6 articles are scheduled.

I am being found heavily in MSN and a little bit in Yahoo but my site barely ranks for Google for the terms I want it to rank for.

The domain name is 4 words long but they are all dictionary words and very easy to read/remember/short 4 words....

The way I would figure the worth of my site is like this:

$21 per Month multiplied by 12 months or 1 year = 252
24 published articles plus 6 scheduled ones at 400 words each for $0.01 per word = $120
Value of Ranking on MSN = $150

so my total price would be 522 on the low end and ideally I'd like to get 800 for it on the high end so it would be $522-$800.

Let me know if I'm off par with my estimates for selling this site or not. I've never really appraised a site before, I just drew upon common sense here......

    That sounds about right to me. What's the name of the site? Depending on that, you might just be pushing it a little.

      Hi,

      I've been looking at pricing as of late and I believe buyers of adsense sites will pay those numbers when the site is aged a bit - 6 months at least.
      But hey you never know , best of luck with that.

      By the way what is that 3d tag widget/plugin you are using on that site?

    Thanks for the input. 500-900 in 6months probably isn't worth the effort, thats about $83-$150/mo. unless I start up with a bunch of websites and create a new 1-3 every month then I'd have a flow going and would be making about $249-$450/mo. Problem is, is I like to outsource so it costs me about $300 per site so I need the initial $300/site.

    I'm using WP Cumulus or something like that for the tag cloud. It's pretty sweet.

    It's worth what the buyer will pay. It's just an MFA site. So what else could it be used for?
