Is this niche worth entering?

Hi, I would like to hear your opinion guys, is this niche worth entering?

Main keyword: 9000 searches/month
Sub keywords (for category pages): around 8 more keywords with 8000,3000,2000,1000... searches/month
Lot of low searched keywords (~300 searches/month)

CPC ~0.40€/click

Competition:

Keyword Competition (using Long Tail Pro): ~25

Main competitors:

#1 Chinese website translated to spanish (with lot of gramatical mistakes), 60000 page backlinks (fake backlinks, spammy backlinks, around 99%), however is in position 1. Domain autorithy: 60, keyword in title. Bad translated product descriptions, however, the site sells a lot.

#2 to #10 Some of them the same, chinese websites, bad translated pages, design not very good. Website #2 also has spammy backlinks.

For example, position #3 has only about 5 backlinks and is in position 3, this is the reason why I think I can reach position #3 for sure.

I can expand the shop in a future and sell lot of accesories related to that product. So, is a niche but expandable. Product not seasonal, good margins...

The main problems I think I'll face are:

* I'm not sure if I will be able to beat competitor #1 in the future.
* There are LOT of Google Adwords advertisements at the top, right side, also advertisements with images.
* The product is not consumable, so, people will only buy it ONE time and will never shop again, so, I cannot sell more products to them in a future.

I will dropship with an ecommerce store.

Do you think I can bypass that problems or not?

Thanks in advance

I think there are way too many variable still at large here.

How are you going to monetize the site? affiliate sales, adsense, CPA?

Put something up quickly, and test the waters with a squeeze page. Then monetize on the back end with an autoresponder.

So far so good, you have a relatively good niche to explore.

However, you are using the wrong criteria to evaluate the competition.

To know your competition for each keywords you have to find out the:

    Age of site
    PR of site
    Amount of top quality links
    Dmoz registration
    Onsite SEO
    And a few others...

Thanks for your answers...I've cheked that criteria you posted with Market Samurai:

Age of sites: most of them 1 year or 2 max

PR of sites: most of them with 0, one site with 1, and some of them with NO PAGERANK (the site #1 has no pagerank), It's strange, I don't know why it has pagerank of 0, maybe it has been penalized by Google, but is still in rank #1.

Amount of top quality links: Most of them are spammy or bad quality.

Dmoz: Only 1 site is in that directory.

Onsite SEO: Pages are optimized for SEO, however, they are using too much SEO in my criteria (over-optimized, too much density of keywords)

Keyword in title: most of them have the keyword in title.

Keyword in url: maybe 2 (in the top 10)

Keyword in description (only 1 or 2)

    Honestly...

Only one way to find out. Try it.

Volume is there and the numbers seem right.

But you really never know until you're actually working in the niche and see the results firsthand.

It really does depend on a lot of factors as a lot of people are saying Adrianx24.

Test the waters first by running a small Ad Campaign in that chosen niche area, keyword or market place. Maybe run a small PPC (Pay Per Click) Ad or something under the keywords you are trying to target. From the Tests and Data you should be able to make an informed decision.

Also Make Sure that you capture the names and emails of your future clients by offering them a mini product relevant to that niche which provides massive value. Maybe some sort of information to something which can help them to make a decision to buy your service.

You want to monetize your leads by creating solid relationships and having a strong follow up series to perfect your product in the marketplace. A great recommendation would be to survey your customers to create a better range of products than your competition. And always always always!! be sure to test and track your marketing efforts and be prepared to Change things if you are not seeing results from them the first few time,

It looks like you have the basis for an ok niche, but building a keyword portfolio should be your ultimate goal, to drive traffic from lots of different sources to your offers.

Hope this helps and be sure to thank if you me if you like, I also have a WSO that may be able to help you. Check it out in the link below. its the second one down.

      Test, track, measure, tweak, repeat.
I've read in Shopify blog that is ok to target a keyword with only 300 searches a month, is this right? How do you do to get 5 figure income? Do you sell a high priced product with high margins? Or you get the demand through another sources like Facebook...?
