Any value in Affiliate Directories?

Does anyone look at affiliate directories anymore or is it pretty much a waste of time to list a new affiliate program there? Appreciate any thoughts on this.

    even if the sites have lost some traffic, you will still get eyes on your product, and more eyes is always better, isn't it ?
    and jvnotifypro.com is on Alexa Global Rank 16,403 and 7,104 Rank in United States..
    So I would guess the traffic is there...

      People in ebiz are more likely to have the toolbar installed than the general public. That's why so many biz sites rank surprisingly high. I think at one point WarriorForum was #75, which of course wasn't accurate.
