Slideshare for Traffic

INTERNET MARKETING

I don't know how many people are using SlideShare for traffic - I dont see it mentioned all that much on here.

But, anyway: I recently went in and set an account up. And made a simple slideshow with epic landscape pictures (taken from Pixabay, which is 100% royalty free) and then simply added some quotes over the top.

Very simple, very easy to do.

It currently has over 5000 views in just over 2 weeks with 298 downloads. And we have seen a nice traffic spike on our site.

Food for thought, if you fancy giving it a go.

Yes, of course it works, and hyperlink each slade, of course.. and it will bring in traffic

Nice little method. I've used it quite a few times but not for traffic like this. You can never have too many traffic sources though so this is worth considering. Thanks for sharing.

  ... Slideshare has to be one of my favorite traffic sources. And the first page ranks flow thick and fast too.

Slideshare is cool. Just note that your hyperlinks won't actually "link" until the 4th page of your presentation. I think it's much better than Scribd also.

This is an interesting method. Still, the results depend upon the content of your output and how you design it. I have never tried using SlideShare for traffic but I guess I will now. It’s awesome how you were able to get 5000 views and 298 downloads in just two weeks.
