Affiliate Marketing - Help?

I'm writing some copy and doing some market research I was hoping fellow Warriors could help me out with for a sec.

What do you want to know about affiliate marketing OR what do you get asked most about affiliate marketing?

One common questions is what niches to target. Which have good traffic and interest, and competition isn't too tough.

Thanks I appreciate the reply. So something like the Top 5 Niches for affiliates would be good.

Well competition is a good thing, it means there is money in the making, you just need to outmarket your competitors.

I agree. I don't find it easy making good money in small, non-competitive markets. Competition shows there are people buying a lot of stuff.

How about something on affiliate web site structures and crafting optimal landing pages for different traffic sources like PPC vs organic search?

And having a cloaked affiliate link in your sig is not the way to do it. Best to remove that before it gets reported.

    1. How do you create a website page with affiliate links on it? (Assume someone already has a hosting account and a domain name and a couple of niches they are interested in trying out, but know nothing about CPanel or HTML or DreamWeaver or any other way to create websites)
    2. How do you build a list without spending $ 20 / month for Aweber or GetResponse or similar?
    3. How do you get traffic to your affiliate page without being accused of spamming and without doing pay-per-click?

    Hi Jason,

I think the number 1 problem with all affiliate marketing courses and training programs is they follow the same patterns market research + traffic + conversion = sales and money.

However nobody address the fundamental challenge people have is catching up with the mind set , momentum as well as power of network aspect of it.

This will be a good idea to touch upon.

    Hope this helps..

    Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I'm actually writing this copy for someone else. They're going to create the product based on it.

I know some of you are wondering why I'm asking what to put in my copy if my product happens to be different. lol...

I am a success coach for YourFirst1000.com and one of the biggest questions I get from people interested in affiliate marketing has to do with selecting a product.

I get a ton of questions from people who want to promote a ClickBank offer but are confused by the "gravity" score. They want to know if they should only promote products with a high gravity because that means that other affiliates are having success with the product or should they avoid products with high gravity because of competition and focus on products that have a low gravity score.

On the flip side, as an affiliate manager I get a TON of questions about how to attract affiliates or get big affiliates to promote a product. Of course these questions are coming from people that have a product of their own.

    Hope that helps you out.
