Paypal Help: charging $97 trial then a one-off payment on a fixed date?

Hi warriors,

I'd like to charge a $97 pre-registration fee for a live event and want to bill them again on a specific date (as opposed to "in X amount of days").

Is this possible with either paypal, stripe, or the amazon payment platform?

And if so, can it be done with a payment link (not a form code)...?

Thanks,
Vic

With Paypal's "Buy Now" button generator you can only offer a single fixed price or a single recurring price.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Thanks guys. Here's the solution I worked out:

I'm using Moonclerk (moonclerk.com) to charge the 2, one-off payments. They use Stripe to process payments but also have some functionality on top of Stripe, including this much needed piece.

It's $9/month and we only need to be able to accept payments while we're collecting registrations for a live event, so we might cancel afterwards.

Are you still using this MoonClerk solution for your event's or nay? I'm considering them as well but for a different business model
      thanks.
