Are you addicted to buying WSO's?

Many Warriors out there are addicted to buying WSO's. They are literally addicted to buying WSO, after WSO, and never make a dime. Understanding the reason for this may just help in breaking the viscous cycle.

According to Blair Warren of BlairWarren.com "The first step in almost every process provides a psychological high that is literally addictive".Think about that for a minute. When you purchase a WSO you literally get a rush, or feeling of euphoria.

When that feeling wears off, or the going gets tough you need another high, and purchase another WSO. This really applies to all areas of our lives. Take someone who has been dieting for years.

They buy a diet plan, get a high off of it, things get tough, they quit the diet, and are on to the next diet plan that gives them their "high" So if you are addicted to buying WSO's maybe understanding this root cause will help you break free.

Just my opinion, hope it helps someone.

You are definitely right and there numbers is pretty much higher
    than you think.

WSO just like the diet plan require consistency and adhering
strictly to the rules and regulation otherwise you are as good as
someone who hasn't bought the WSO.

Honestly, I think the people that keep buying them just aren't very smart. They're pulling the WSO slot machine hoping to win the jackpot and land a course that truly requires no skill, investment or effort to make decent money. That's what they are after. They are fools.

My name is Jeff Schuman and I am a WSOaholic. I am not addicted anymore, but I could easily relapse if I do not keep my guard up.

Unsubscribing from email updates on the WSO of the day and so forth has helped. So has getting a NetFlix membership. Now I spend more time there and less time buying and reading new WSO's.

This may be a little harsh. You have to consider that not all WSO's are 'make money plans'. For example I have sold several hundred copies of software my company makes. Some people sell tools and not 'get rich schemes'

    This part is particularly true.

I think the problem relies in the 'untold riches for very little work' claims many profess. Once people realize that there is more work than they think or the WSO isn't actually making them money right away then they'll obviously give up and move on, hoping to eventually come across a $1m a month autopilot method.

Sadly they will end up disappointed.

I buy as many as I can because I LOVE them!

This whole obsession with the phrase "shiny object" and people looking down on WSO buyers has GOT to stop! I have NEVER met anyone who wants instant riches, instant wealth or instant anything else. We buy them because they are cheap and interesting and give us ideas.

If you're a regular WSO buyer be proud that you are maintaining your educational journey, laugh and dismiss the nay sayers and those who judge you as "not very smart" dumb lazy fools like Duddub think we all are (how insulting!). They are the ones who are not very smart. Having an interest in ideas and new methods is the very sign of an intelligent person and anyone who hangs crap on WSO buyers need to take a good hard look at themselves and mind their own business.

WSOs are never designed to make anyone rich. At worst they are sharing an existing idea with new words (that perhaps might be easier to understand) and at best they are a new idea which may or may not suit your style.

Keep buying WSOs and stand proud. YOU'RE the smart one.

I had this problem, until I made the decision to not buy crap any more. There is always something that piques an interest and prompts you to part with your money. but I realized that I just keep I was just acquiring information for information's sake. I finally made the decision to just not buy anything more.

This has been very true for me in the past, and it has nothing to do with being stupid and wanting internet riches for doing little to no work. It has to do with a sense of urgency, and desperation to find a real method for making money online.

I think the high comes when you FEEL like you have a solid way to make that dream happen sitting right in front of you, and the feeling wears off when it takes a lot longer or more effort than what was represented in the WSO or other IM product.

You bought the hype, you got excited from it, you set out to make it happen and at the first sign of struggle the high is gone and you want to feel that positive "it really can happen" feeling again.

The thing to do, obviously, is push through that struggle and work to make it happen. Stop jumping from product to product (high to high) and act, fail, learn, improve...rinse and repeat.

Easier said than done. It's all about learning that for yourself. Hopefully you do that before you go broke!

Interesting topic...I'm glad you brought it up.

I used to, think everyone did at one point.

Unsubscribing from all the people who promote them was a great idea. I remember getting 3 or 4 emails per day from different people all so so so eager for the affiliate commission. Give me a break.

By unsubscribing and avoiding the wso section I get more done, don't get distracted and can work on what I know works and aligns with my business goals.

The wso section has value though, but it has to be handled carefully. I would tell anyone new to choose a method and optimise that, rather than starting a brand new method just because there's apparently money there.

I think even people that are successful continue to educate themselves by staying up to date with the latest trends. Whether buying wsos qualifies as a good source to find that information is another question. I think the problem is buying something about amazon one day then offline the next then adsense after that and then cpa the day after. If you stick to one discipline or skill set then buying wsos on that one topic can be beneficial. Plus you can start reviewing those wsos and get a bit of a reputation in the discipline which can make you money or even get the wsos for free as a trusted reviewer.

No, I do not purchase WSOs. I believe that there is no reason to buy digital training products as anything that you can pay for, if you search long enough, you can find a free equivalent somewhere else online. (Google, YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, etc.)

I have to be absolutely convinced in it and believe in it to make a purchase.

Although , I'll say this, some of the sales pages are absolutely killer.

......However, not 100% of the products follow through, so do your research.

Just as well they don't train medical Doctors (or anyone else) by pointing them to the many libraries scattered across the globe and saying "it's all in there...good luck".
