Say your trying to post a product your are trying to sell or dropship, and you see that you cant beat the lowest selling new listing, is it still worth it to post your ad?

    I would think that you would need to isolate buyers to get them to buy your product. For example, if you were selling a wine for 95 and they can get it for 80. You would have to use branding and/or urgency selling techniques to get them to buy your wine, either through trust or impulse. To do this you would need to come off as an entity which requires that you have a website and this my friend may take a while.

    PM if you would like some advice. Are you just getting started in IM? and if so how long are you willing to wait to make money?

    Some customers will only look at price as the key factors. Obviously you will not bring in all the customers. Other customers value other factors such as better customer service, or faster shipping or free shipping or bundling the product with some other complimentary product or the number of positive feedbacks/testimonials..to sway their buying decisions.
    Besides there are other advanced SEO and paid traffic tactics that marketers employ to pull prospects away from competitors.
