hey guys just a quick one and this may sound stupid but is it against any law or misleading to have a keyword rich domain lets say

"www.bestpetaccessories.com" but have a different logo as you enter the site lets say awesomepets something like that/. just curious

    Not against the law.
    I would generally advise against doing that though. If your site/brand is called "Awesome Pets" than use that as your domain rather than trying to create an EMD or keyword stuffed domain. It will also cause confusion for your visitors, customers or potential affiliate leads as well.

    You would not be violating any law. However, you will not be able to get a recall power with what you will do. And just like what ElusiveEnd said, you will end up confusing your clients on which one is really the working name of your business. Still, you decide.

    Yes you can do that with no legal issues.

    If I have a site called "Brian's Pets" and it is taken I might use something like "Brians Best Pets" just to keep the branding similar.
