Hello and thanks in advance
I'm in a bit of a pickle with my brand's website.
We have this very cool, new, inspiring product and it's getting amazing reviews from people that see it in shows and from our Facebook fans, we also have nice CTR on our ads.
However the conversion rate is very low for the website, and sales are going really slow.
We advertise mainly through Facebook and Google display ads, as well as the casual article on relevant sites etc..

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at the site (Unique Christian Jewelry) and give me some tips as for what the problem might be. I'm not even sure if the site is the issue, it might be the marketing massage or something else entirely.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!
Amitos.

From my understanding, people get on Facebook to socialize, and not buy things.

I will suggest you to check your site via some users behavior tools. In this way you can see what parts of your site must be improved etc. Maybe you are not getting good traffic.

People also get on almost any site or platform in order to find information, socialize and stay up to date in whatever they like, and not buy things.

      What tools would you suggest?

    Hello

I checked your site but for complete analysis I need to see your google analytics data.
Right now I would say to apply following things.

#1- Instead of making reviews section seperately, I would say to make a review box for each product, so that while browsing products user can actually see reviews for that particular product.

#2 - On each product page add a section for similar products or related products.
Dont let users walk away from site if they don't like that particular product, Give them option to see more products.

For example AMAZON, they have option that tell users

Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed

you could add " Simplar Products" Or " Related Products "

I would suggest revamping the website and focusing it on pre-selling the product. As it is , there is too much distracting words on it. If you are new to copywriting, get someone to write you a good sales copy for the product. You can search on this Forum for affordable copywriter..or outsource it in Odesk, or Elance. That should help with your conversion.

Yeah, facebook is a good place to advertise something like that if you market your ad to the right people.

The thing I saw though was the site was distracting for me. What I consider complicated graphics. No products on front page although that is the purpose of the site.

The prices should be able to be clicked on, for one there is a shopping cart next to them and there in blue.

I always say simpler is better. Your site is very busy to my eyes and if I would of not been there to look at it cause you asked I would of been one of your bounces today.

Take care. Remember, Facebook is as good as you make it. You can highly target your ads in facebook and it does work. People who tell you differently either never have used it or used it properly before.

Bars, Resaurants, Cafes, all places people go to socialize, if they didn't buy they wouldn't have a place to go by so I wish people would quit spreading that myth that facebook is to socialize and people don't buy.

Would you recommend less text on the home page?
the thing is, that people buy this product because its re-blooming ability. people don't understand what the purpose and the ability of the product unless they read a little (even a line or 2 is enough) but due to this i have to have text on the home page. so that they won't see just another jewel and bounce.

    Any suggestions?

Your website looks more like a sales page. It looks great, but sales page none the less. I would suggest finding a similar website that sells something along the same lines. And give your site a very close comparison. See if you can add some of their ideas on to your page.

The trick is, get your prospect to want to read the whole page. Have them keep reading until they have decided that they want/need it. Then you have the offer waiting the offer.

If I were you, I would create a second page advertizing the same thing. Except, you cannot use anything you had on the first page. And see if you can match the sales. Example, You cant use the same copy, the same images, the same layout.
