Q: Article content in relation to my product

I'm writing articles about more than one topic within my niche.

However, I only have time/resource to develop one product for the time being.

I'm a little concerned about my author Bio. It's written in the generic sense of the niche - is this ok? (I realize click throughs etc may be lower)

My Bio is in the context of...

To find out more about how the experts succeed in "X", they do "Y".
Download my new free ebook about "Y": my URL for my formula "Y".

In other words I don't have enough material or content to write hundreds of articles about Y, so I cover a range of topics that are relative to my niche. Also I like to vary my content to stop me from going brain-dead or getting bored.

I did wonder that maybe I could have a different opt-in/squeeze page, the header/title of each one being relevant to the article content. Then I'd use the text in the squeeze page to saying how the article content, and my product relate to one another.

    Hi Ian

I'm not sure I fully understand your post but the second line offering something free is stronger than the first one.

    Ian,

Your author bio matters pretty close to absolutely zero when it comes to EZA. Just have your link in there. Trust me, I write in dozens of markets and the ones with elaborate bios get just as many clicks as the ones with no bios.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly what you're asking...but if you're talking about the author bio, why not just change it so that it reflects the topic of the article and not "Y"? Unless you're trying to get backlinks for "Y"?

What you should focus is on getting the click on your EZA resource box. Improving CTR is more important than thinking that is a great bio box.
