Hello fellow warriors,

where you do you find the best place to host downloadable content is on the web?

e.g being, downloadable ebooks, audio mp3s, video guides that are put into zip folders for people to download from you?

You can host the content on your website/blog. Alternatively, you can use mediafire.com, sendspace.com, hotfile.com

E-junkie Shopping Cart for selling downloads & tangible goods is a pretty straightforward place to host and sell downloadable content. For eBooks you can also use Lulu.Com to host and sell your eBooks. Lulu also have distribution into amazon and iTunes too, plus you can sell print on demand physical copies of your eBooks thru Lulu too if you're so inclined.

    Food for thought!

Are you looking for a free service? Sendspace is good for paid plans (their free account only lets you upload up to 300mb which is way too little for me). For free acount, Fileserving (I think they call it myvdrive now? =/) is pretty decent. They allow continuous uploads/downloads, without having to wait for an hour to upload/download another file.

Not a huge fan of dropbox for personal use, but it's great for companies.

Let me know what you end up using, I'm down to try new things, especially when it's free
