Need some promotion tips

I want to promote some mmorpg games and related products. I have 4 or 5 in mind. How can I blog and write good content on the games if I am not playing. I may be able to play one but I couldn't possibly play them all due to time and money.

If you do not know anything about what you are trying to promote, the best option that you can have is to do outsourcing. Learning all of them will really require a lot of time and effort from you. So, if you are not planning on having to go through all of these, just seek for the help of freelancers and agencies to write content for your promotion.

Find a freelancer to write for you. Even if it will cost you more, you can save a lot of time. Not to mention that these writters do a great job.

If you value your time more than you value your money, again, just hire somebody else to do it for you. However, before you give them your money, you should always prefer freelancers or agencies that have your niche as an expertise. Make the most out of what you will be spending.

Easiest is to check for some videos on youtube, embed them to your blog and write what you see in that video

It depends on your current need for the content. If you want them now and your want them ALL now, you will really need to spend money and to ask for the assistance of an agency because it seems to me like it is going to be a big project.

ok so either outsource or videos and write myself. Videos is the best option for me. I really didn't need to see crazy liveries to learn how to promote but thanks anyhow! This thread was about games not getting laid LOL!!!

This really is not going to be a really big project. I will learn and promote one game at a time until I get them all up. I can do trial periods on the paid games. My thing is I love playing and get wrapped up in playing and never will do what I need to. I do need to be in one or 2 games as my site is a blog with a forum and I am sure the people hanging around it would like the blogger to be in at least one of the games

I suggest that you promote/write about what you know for now. With knowledge come sales. Use keyword research to see what’s popular in your field of expertise first then write/promote. It makes no sense to write/promote something you have no knowledge in or it’s way too competitive of a subject. Even worse spending all that time playing to build up knowledge and then there is hardly anyone searching for your answers. You may want to replace your “playing time’ with finding games you have experience in and finding non-competitive keywords with a descent monthly search volume, then write/promote.

Once you learn that game you can concentrate on keyword research, then hire someone else to write about the product/keywords you find that area HOT in that niche! - Pete

Set you up a wordpress blog.
Use AutoBlogged to automate the process

You need to ditch the hobby mindset and understand that if you want to have a business you'll need to invest a little bit of money into it. Having a few articles written will cost you a few tens of dollars, so it's not like you're breaking the bank.

Writing the articles yourself is obviously the cheapest way to go, but they also need to convert, so keep that in mind. There's no point in posting articles on your blog if they won't convert due to being poorly written.

If you want to promote something that you are not playing, I suggest you hire a content writer. This will help you save some time and effort. If you think hiring one will just add up to your expenses, then think twice. A content writer can bring so much benefit to you and your niche. As a matter of fact, their service is worth more than how much they are paid. So, hiring one is absolutely acquiring an asset - intellectual asset - that would help you succeed in your niche.

Go on YouTube and type in "Lets play XXXXX" replace the X's with the name of the game, if you can't play them, you can watch people playing it. Also, you might be able to find some live game play on twitch.tv

If it is not going to be a big project, then take all the time you need to learn all about these games. However, that is not a good way to grow in the business. You will just lose all the time that you could already be using to make money. Just write the articles on the games that you have knowledge about and outsource the rest.

Publish what on amazon? He is having a hard time deciding on what to do about his niche. He wants to write about games but he is afraid that he does not have enough knowledge about the games that he has in mind, right now. What we are suggesting is for him to do outsourcing.
