Google Analytics Doesn't Keep Data?

So I checked Google Analytics this morning and decided to see how many total visitors I had gotten from the start of June up until today.

When I did this it said that the data from before 25th July was no longer available.

What does this mean? Are they no longer keeping data from a few months ago?

If so then what really is the point in Analytics if you can only see data from the last few months?

I can see data going back as long as I like.

They have a help centre, a blog and a community forum.

I'd ask them why this is happening.

Everything is fine here, I just checked. Best solution is to contact with the support center as Richard Van.
