My Fiverr Seller Delivery Strategy - Exposed!
To those of you who sell on Fiverr, we all know how one bad review can hurt a gig or FIVERR CAREER (god forbid, I know!).
I recently had a completely unrealistic "client" (cheapo didn't even use extras!) who left a bad review after multiple attempts at appeasement. At this point I'm going on the assumption that it might be a competitor who bought my gig, strung me along and then left a bad review. But, that is besides the point and difficult to prove.
I work in the copywriting area for a gig that usually takes around 10-15 minutes to complete even with extras.
This Fiverr delivery strategy would work for any graphics, writing, etc. Maybe some other gigs.
Anyhow, the strategy I usually follow (which I didn't do with this one), is to "deliver" the gig as a .pdf attached "first draft". I try to get it to the buyer two days in advance of the gig closing. If the client is legit, which 95% are, they will get back to you relatively quickly and let you know if they would like changes or if it is good to go.
If a buyer at this point has a few changes, then that's cool, I make the changes and get paid with a great, stellar review! I over-deliver! If the buyer at this point is a crazy or a competitor, you can CANCEL ORDER.
Be proactive about your Fiverr gigs to avoid the negative crazies or jerk competitors who don't play by the rules. You can't avoid all negatives, but you can limit them to a minimum. Good luck out there, and be Fiverr Safe!
