Platform for selling fitness programs: ClickBank or Amazon Kindle?

I write fitness programs and small amounts of informational content for a micro-niche within the fitness niche.

I have heard Amazon Kindle is a viable way to sell ebooks etc. but after doing some research it seems that for someone who is more geared at creating exercise programs and the accompanying written content, as opposed to being better at writing content with an accompanying exercise program, I think maybe Amazon Kindle would be a bad idea since Kindles are more like books?

An opinion would be helpful, thanks.

Dave.

Not sure I understand this part but it sounds like it may be a product better suited for Clickbank, but what is to stop you from doing both? I don't think it needs to be an either/or issue.

The fact that probably no serious, pro-affiliate on ClickBank is willing to send traffic to a product there which also has another sales page on Amazon?

Can this be a leak for a ClickBank product?
Clickbank plus my own shopping cart?

As you can see from the threads above, and so many others like them, trying to use both is probably the one important thing to avoid, because it can effectively cost you most of the otherwise-available sales, to do so.

From what you say, Dave, I'd certainly want ClickBank to be the retailer, rather than Amazon. Not only because of your (entirely valid) observation about "books", but because I wouldn't want to limit it to Kindle owners, and I'd want to attract affiliates, too (much more difficult on Amazon). And because I'd want to use my own sales page, which for me would fit far more comfortably with ClickBank than with Amazon (I don't say it would be impossible to do, referring the traffic to Amazon to buy).

Use both websites, I believe the program will fit in both sites. Go with both of them, you'll never know.
