bit.ly & JVzoo link problem !!

I created some videos using Andy Brocklehurts Video Monster.

I put some bitly links in the description which redirected to his JVZoo affiliate links. I didn't think anything of using the bit.ly links but I checked one out and to my horror the link went to a page like this [img][/img]View Screen Capture

Here's the actual link ...it takes you to the warning page Warning! | There might be a problem with the requested link

Has this always happened, I was on the youtube page when I clicked on the link. I copied the links and placed in FF browser.

Is this always happenining with bit.ly now?

Any solution other than not using bit.ly?

Is it because the shortened link is a jvzoo link?

Thanks

Scott

    • I stopped using tinyurl a while ago..... can't remember why but there was an issue with another plugin or program I was using.

Just tried and tinyurl works great as suggested.

I had a simply redirect script that I used for all my affiliate links. After a ocuple of years it broke, not sure why but I never replaced it..... guess now would be a good time.

Anyone know of a good redirect script or wordpress plugin?
