    Right here is a great place, because just about everyone with a website that gets a high volume of traffic is bound to have a DDoS attack every once in a while.

    Your service is needed. Honestly I don't think you'll have trouble getting business if you can deliver the goods. A good website, lead generation system, call to action, social media presence, you'll be golden. With the recent attacks on millions of WordPress users, I'd say we can't have enough services like yours.

    Targeted Facebook ads can be useful, as well as going after long tail keywords with both SEO and Adwords. Also a business strategy like CloudFlare has seems to work, ie. offer free services with minimal protection, so clients are more likely to pay for a better protection with your company once they receive attacks, rather than looking for another one.

    Any webmaster, especially game site owners would be good candidates for your DDOS protection service or software. You can find these people on webmaster forums or use Facebook/Adwords ads to target your audience and drive traffic/sales to your website.
