Avg. Fiverr Conversion Rate?

As some of you might know, I do Fiverr gigs as a part-time thing (check my signature), mainly to build seed capital for my websites and such. I get about two to three orders every week, which I know is really low.

My conversion rate holds steady around 3.5%, as in pageviews to orders. I'm not sure if this is good or not; one guy said that he had over a 20% rate, but he was a super seller and all.

What about you other Fiverr freelancers? Does 4% sound right to you?

Same here...But I almost don't do any promoting for it. What's your gig maybe there's a way to give you some pointers ? I buy gigs at Fiverr almost all the time.

  • I haven't done fiverr in a few months, but my main gigs used to be around 7-10% when I was working over there. I had a lot of repeat clients though, so that might drive the percentage up.

I don't do any promoting either. I have many different active gigs. My top ones are transcription and writing tweets.

I had one lady buy 24 gigs from me in 7 days. That shot my percentage up, but since then (it's been two weeks) I'm getting very few orders, less than one per day. But hey, 10% is awesome, so congratz!

    3.5% is cool.
Fiverr stats are not so good nowadays because you can have a retunring customer who makes orders everyday and this will make everything go up.

    Hi,

I am a mid-level Fiverr seller. I have a gig doing fairly well converting around 6%. It is not making a ton of dough, around 50-100$ a month. I want to get it to convert better. Also, look at your stats, see how many people are viewing your gig

Once you get order from Fiverr, you do the job asap for your client. Once you complete the job, the client will leave positive rating. The positive rating can increase the conversion rate.

I have a 2hr. response time on Fiverr AND a 100% positive rating. I guess I just need to wait to pick up momentum.

ODesk is REALLY competitive. Plus, the services I offer: writing and onpage SEO, are pretty popular. Nobody wants to pick a service provider who hasn't had any jobs yet.

    Hi John:
The following will help you. These are tips to increase your gig conversions.
    • express gigs
    • mini movies
    • images

Create some express gigs. I see that you do not have any. These will increase your gig conversions. People want things done right away.

Videos are a proven winner. Build little mini movies. Tell customers about your services. Often people will also place these on you tube to gain more consumers. Try to make them exciting and interesting as this will get you more exposure.

Place in your gigs many images. This shows potential customers what they are getting when they order a gig. Also, please make sure your pictures or illustrations are crisp. Sharp edges in your drawings are a sign of a pro. Get rid of any pictures that have muddy colors or look noisy. Really work hard on creating a stunning presentation for your viewers. Fiverr now allows up to three images per gig.

That's some pretty good advice, thanks a ton. How do I create an express gig? Is it just a same-day delivery gig?

          Hi!

I totally agree with seobro. Listen to him!

I have also heard that 3-5% conversion rate is good especially overall if you have many gigs.

          cheers,

          Pete

    Hi John:

OK so you need to put in one day delivery, and the system will award you an express gig tag after you successfully delivery several orders under 24 hours.

    A. Gigs with lead times under 24 hours
    B. 3 or more sales in gig
    C. Positive feedback of 95% or more
    D. Additionally, sellers also are required to have an overall rating of 90% or over
    E. Level one or more

If you add videos to your gigs, you will see a vast improvement in both open and conversion rates .... and also ... be sure that anyone who buys a gig from you rates you ... very important to have a track record with social proof.

Yeah, I'll try to make sure they rate me more often. I'm trying to think a little bit more about the videos. I think I might be able to make those. Thanks a lot, Pawlu.
