Quick Question

by rongindamix 4 replies
Okay so I bought an expired domain for some reason it seems indexed (I submitted the sitemap), but for some reason when I search in google my description still says the domain is parked. Now the domain has only been up a couple days so should I just continue to wait on this or am I looking at an issue? Thanks.

Did you re-point the domain’s nameservers to your new hosting acct where the website resides? If you have the domain name repointed and the website in place it normally only takes 30 minutes on average. Although they do say it can take up to 72 hours for name servers to swap over.

Yea just give it a few of days, there is a Webmasters Tools form for requested an expedited re-indexing. You might have a look at the date of the cash file the last spider visit generated.

The domain is indexed with it's previous data till now. This is why search results showing that domain is parked. You should continue your work on that site and give Google a few more day to re index your site to have correct data.
