Ecommerce marketplace...where to get vendors

I would like to start an ecommerce marketplace where vendors can list their own products like etsy. In order to get people to buy, I need to get vendors to list their products. What is the best way to start to build up my inventory of products, so that I can then market to customers? I can't begin the customer marketing until I get the product inventory built up. I'm stumped at the best way to do this.

  • Try Forums and sign up with CJ, Linskhare and other networks and contact the advertisers about your offer.
  • hi there ... aside from forums, there are also a number of skype and facebook groups which you can join and subsequently approach. From my experience, it is important to try to approach the vendors on a one-on-one basis rather than through spammy FB posts.
  • I would look on Google or Social Media in the Trade and Service section also Craigslist.
